The Log Tavern is a warm and welcoming place to stop for some rustic grub. My husband and I were camping at the nearby Caliper Lake Campground, and made the short drive to Nestor Falls for breakfast. It was a quiet weekend, so we were the only folks dining that morning. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Good music playing, with a variety of sports muted on the big screens. Our food was quick, generous portions, tasty and piping hot. This isn't a gourmet or fancy place to eat, but they'll make sure you're happy, full, and refill your coffee to go when you leave. I don't know if our travels will ever bring us back to this area, but if they do, I'll come back to The Log Tavern to eat.
