Monica's make the cake for my brothers wedding (September 2017) and it was the most atrocious cake I have ever seen. My mom paid for the cake and was there when the cake was ordered. She said that was not what they asked for. The cake looked they ran out of time frosting and had to quit. Only the bottom of the 3 tiers was complete with pretty rosette and one little blue frosting flower on the bottom tier. The rest was like a kid frosted it with their hand. It was lopsided and seemed it could tip over anything. When my mom went up there after the wedding the owner was not pleasant and made every excuse to why the cake looked like that. So to say that is what the bride asked for, which is was not. She did not ask for a 1/2 frosted cake that was lopsided!!! The owner should be embarrassed to send a $400 cake out of her shop looking like that. I would not ever recommend them for any type of cake.

SERVICE IS SUB PAR It seems like I am the only one who has had a less than perfect experience. We have been using Monica's Baker Boy for years (graduation cakes, birthdays, donuts, etc) but I will no longer be going back to them. I inquired about having a wedding cake done by them, after nearly TWO WEEKS i finally heard back from them. I was asked to send a picture of what I wanted in an email and she would get pricing back to me. Well, after another follow up email, I finally received a call from Monica (or her daughter, I'm not sure) confirming price. She then followed up with, if you need anything else let me know. I have now called twice in the last week, once I left a voicemail, the other it rang for a good minute and a half without an answer. I emailed Monica a week ago today asking about a change in my current order. I still have yet to hear back from her. As a bride, this is very unsettling and I HOPE I am the only one who has had to experience something like this. This is my first review EVER, but I am completely UNSATISFIED with the service I have received, or the lack thereof.

They made the cake for my wedding. She made us 6 cupcakes for testing. Talked with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Delivered it without a problem. Love love love. Can't wait for birthdays to start coming so I can get more of the amazing cakes.

I love this place! Have been going since I was little and the Apple fritters are the best. They always have such friendly employees that make it such a treat to come back
