My family and I were really excited to check this place out. It was my first time experiencing a mongolian grill. The employees were very friendly and a joy to talk with, the restaurant was clean. It was not very busy which I was surprised. The food was delicious but we will most likely not return. For the portion/price range, we left still hungry. We were also charged $9 for our 3 cups of tap water. As far as I knew, Mongolian Grills were an all you can eat experience and we have never at any establishment been charged for tap water before so this was a surprise. I would return for a lunch as I said, the food is delicious.
I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place near us when me and my husband were looking for a place to eat on our car trip. It was a real deal - great food and nice people. It’s a simple place but I honestly believe that these kind of places are the best. Plus where else you’re gonna eat Mongolian grill???
One of my favorite places to eat. Mongolian grill always has the best noodles in town!!! After picking your ingredients and seasonings, your food is cooked fresh right in front of you. All of their seasonings recommendations are delicious, and you can experiment freely with your own mixes. They also serve soup, rice, and dessert for free. And very affordable on top of all of this. 5
If I could I'd give it a 4.5/5. They never stop surprising me at the price for how much food you can get. However, in my opinion some of the meats should be separate from one another and same with some other food items they have. Mainly because the meat, they have pork, beef, chicken and crab all next to each other and if I was allergic to shellfish that would be a danger for me. Then only frozen meats are the red and chicken as well. The crab isn't completely frozen. I also believe that the food bar could be cleaner, around the sauces they have for your meal. But other than that. I genuinely thing this place is worth a shot to try if you never had it, it's fantastic food wise and the service is always 9/10. They check up on you catch you when your drinks are low. Just beautiful for this small restaurant and I wish people knew more about them. Vegetarian options: They have variety of vegetables and to match it, instead of egg noodles they have rice noodles instead for those who don't eat meat. Kid-friendliness: Since it's a noodle bar the kids have a opportunity to step out of their comfort zone with food but if not they can just have noodles if they wanted. Parking: It's in an area where they share parking with other stores so it can be difficult. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and wheelchair accessible dining but they don't have an automatic door for the ones that need it. Dietary restrictions: They have variety of food along with able to give you the portion control you need and they have teahot/iced, able yo control how sweet it is, soda and water.
1/23/23 Tonight my husband and I arrived at Mongolian Grill at 7:29pm. After waiting for approximately 2 minutes to be seated, one of the cooks acknowledged us and asked if we were dining in or taking it to go. We told him we were dining in. It is then he directed us to a booth and told us "to get started". We grabbed our bowls and loaded them up. Next we put them on the counter for the cook to start cooking. It is at this point a waitress came up to us and said she "was only doing to go orders". My husband told her we were told we could dine in and the cook told her it was OK as well. She then yelled "No, I'm only doing to go orders!" To say the least, she was rude, unprofessional and we weren't going to tolerate being yelled at and cast aside. We immediately grabbed our coats, told the cook we were leaving and walked out. There was no apology from her or other staff members that witnessed her bad behavior. To Owners and Management, you would be wise to let her go and find quality employees that care about their jobs, your customers and your business's reputation.
Pretty decent food... if you can get in. The past 2 months I've gone there to eat at least 6 times and was able to get in only once! Every other time the place was either closed or I was turned away for reasons. All during hours when it's supposed to be open. The published operating hours are a joke, they just open whenever they feel like it. Waste of time.
The staff is AWESOME! The food, meh. I think the staff does it's best with what they have. I had not been there in 6-10 years, I think I'll wait another 10 before I am brave enough to try it again.Food: 3/5
Made a stop here for lunch and was not disappointed. There was an array of vegetables, meats and sauces to choose from. Sizes of bowls were small to large in size. Discovered theres a way to arrange everything to get maximum amount for the $$ according to repeat customers. Veggies, loose leaf veggies and meat, apply sauce, then top with a heaping mound of noodles. I shall try next visit. Even the price was reasonable for what you get so I have no complaints. Rice and a chicken noodle kind of egg drop soup was included. Don't recommend getting water tasted like it was straight from tap. Overall I enjoyed the food an atmosphere. Waitresses were friendly and so was our cook. If you're in Cheyenne be sure to stop in and try this hidden treasure.
The waitress was fabulous, very friendly and attentive and that was even after six or so more tables got added to her workload. Food is good, don’t let the signage on the buffet fool you, pile that bowl high.
Fast, friendly, and fresh food. You fill your bowl with the items of your choice, pack it down and fill some more, add yours sauce and take it to the cook at the grill. If you don't love your flavor and mix, it's all your fault! YUM!
