Founded in 1998, Monastiraki is a curiosity shop and art gallery located in the heart of the Mile End, Montreal. We have art prints, posters, small press, zines, vintage treasures and strange bits of ephemera you won't find anywhere else.

This place is full of paper. Posters, postcards, grocery lists, sticky notes with reminders. Filled as well with local art.
A Mile End jewel.
Such a great place to find cool pieces. I love it here and always find something inspiring. The owner is also a really cool guy full of knowledge.
The absolute best. It doesn’t matter if you need some art or just need to spend some time. OPEN THE DRAWS! find random treasures, things you didn’t know you wanted and things you forgot you needed.
Alot of cool little memories and unique selection of items, an inside look to a different places :
Perfect sunday experience : go in to wander and discover new visual artists.
Lots of interesting art, owner was super friendly and helpful.
Had a nice time here! Kids enjoyed typing and checking out cool ephemera.
Very wacky place. The kind of place that has a part in a short story where you find a long list letter to yourself or a portal to another place. Perfect for building found art projects, but prices seem high.
