I am writing on behalf of myself, my brother, and my mother. We have been with Monarch in Port Moody for more than 10 years now since 2011. We grew with Monarch. Dr. Peter is amazing as he is the most professional, experienced dentist we've met at Monarch so far. He has an excellent degree of skill and quality. He is also very kind, gentle, and open - making all of us feel comfortable. And dental assistant Roxana is a jewel at Monarch Port Moody. Her procedure with love and care is deeply appreciated. She treats us like her own children. Overall, the atmosphere is so homey and it feels natural for us to stay with Monarch. We are one of many families who feel the same and we are glad we choose Monarch at Port Moody as our dentist. Thank you so much!
Monarch Pediatric has changed the fear of going to the Dentist! My son Roberto is 13 year old son and has autism. We have been a patient of Monarch for several years! Dr. Mark is hands-down the best dentist that we have experience with my son. He has gone to extreme levels to make every appointment smooth while working on Robertos anxiety and fears. He works to suit Roberto not himself. With his superhero cap he wears "actually" , his patience and hiding the dental instruments in the toothbrushes is a genius! ‍ His knowledge with children on the spectrum is incredible and the way he makes them feel comfortable is a blessing. I highly recommend Monarch Pediatric to all children whether on the spectrum or not. This place can’t be beat! Thank you Dr.Mark and your team. See you all soon.
My son is usually very nervous to see the dentist. We went to Dr. Mark recently to have one of his teeth removed. He cried a little bit but with the soothing voice and patience of Dr. Mark, surprisingly the whole process was done without using any laughing gas.
My 4 year old daughter and I just had the best experience here this morning! From the moment we walked in, to leaving I can't express how easy and fun we both had going to the dentist! Thank you Monarch Port Moody!
Dr Jonathan and all the staff including admin are wonderful. They are organized with appointment setting and reminders. The office is relaxed, welcoming, clean and safe. As someone who is traumatized with dentists, my kids love going to see Monarch. We've been going since 3 years old. My kids have had root canals, caps, cavities filled and they are still ok going back. My daughter who is 9 says she would ONLY TRUST DR JONATHAN WITH HER TEETH. That means something!
I have been taking my 3 special needs children to Monarch for years!! I can not say enough good things! All of the staff has been amazing! my children have disabilities that do not make it easy but the Monarch staff are patient, caring and extremely professional with my kids! I have had 2 true dental emergencies with 2 different kids! First one I arrived to Dr John doing what he could and jumping on the phone sending me to the specialist immediately once I arrived in walks Dr Jennifer who took time out of the Surrey Monarch Office to assist with the procedure! Amazing ! Outcome was awesome! just had it checked! thanks Dr Jennifer Another emergency Dr Johnathon, Roxie and crew were awesome! worked until well after office hours and what do you know they saved the day! Both outcomes are fantastic! If you are looking for a children's dentist this is the place! : over the years I have had experience with all the dentists at Monarch and every single one is awesome! Best paediatric dentist in Port Moody!! The staff are excellent with kids -- Harveen helped our son feel comfortable and safe, and even took time to listen to his concerns about going to the dentist. Dr. Jonathan Hung is amazing! He knows what he's doing and is by far the best for little ones and ensuring the best care and treatment is given.
My 9-year-old son, Andy, has anxiety going to the dentist since he was a toddler. Back in December 2020, Dr. Mark extracted 2 of Andy's adult teeth. It went really went and my son had a good and smooth experience. Yesterday, he went back to have his first filling done, and he's been anxious for a week. Dr. Mark and Cindy did a really good job conversing with him and making him feel comfortable. We couldn't be happier with Dr. Mark and the team for always being patient answering our questions and explaining the procedure to Andy. Thank you!!!
My brother and I have been going to Monarch for 18 years, since we were babies. This place has always been great, our dentist Roxana treats us like her own sons. We actually look forward to the dentist visits unless it’s for cavities because we can catch up with the people who’ve watched us grow up through the years
Our daughter has been going here for a number of years. The front desk staff are friendly, professional, and POLITE! Like one of the reviews below, when you are in your appointment, they are generous with their time and do not make you feel rushed. We usually see Dr. Jonathan, who is amazing in dealing with our often nervous daughter and great at keeping me informed. We have also seen Dr. John and Dr. Elsa who are both also amazing with their work while keeping the kids calm! Highly recommend!
