To me, it was just okay. The texture of the noodles felt like it was overcooked. Cucumber salad was great, but other sides were average-ish. Fried noodle didn't really have much flavor either. Interesting to try, but since there are lots of other options in Victoria, I cannot see myself revisiting this place.Food: 3/5
had dinner along twice here in April, wasn't busy at all. Their #1 Gui Lin Rice Noodle combo was delicious & very satisfying, better than the Dan Dan Combo in my opinion. Will definitely come again with family. The interiors is well decorated, and some seating area were scarified for deco items, respect that. Room to improve: was struggling with the delicate straw and milk tea drink cup a bit, :
Delicious food with a super cute restaurant. Honestly this is some of the best food we've had in Victoria. This Chinese noodle spot has a bunch of delicious noodle options as well as plenty of sides/appetizers. I would recommend their popcorn chicken as a starter before getting noodles for a main dish.Food: 5/5
Absolutely loved my dining experience at Momi Noodle! The highlight was definitely their Dan Dan Rice Noodle – a burst of flavors in every bite. I couldn't get enough of the rich and savory broth. This dish alone is worth the visit, and the entire meal was a delight. Friendly staff and a cozy ambiance added to the wonderful experience. Can't wait to be back for more!
Decided to try a Guilin spot, Momi Noodle, in Chinatown. Make sure to ask for their homemade chili oil. - Guilin marinated rice noodle A1 $14.95 - huge portion of noodles. Broth was light, well rounded. Pork had a nice skin crackling, beef was tender. Favourite of the three. - Dan dan rice noodle A4 $15.95 - broth was very plain. Prefer the traditional dan dan style over this version. - Sour cabbage pork belly rice noodle A12 $18.95 - a mix of noodles to give some contrasting textures. Broth had a mild, sour note. Okay but nothing special. Decent fare at MN. 3.5 stars.
Overall, my experience at the restaurant was just okay. The place had a decent ambiance and setting, and I must say the service was great. However, the food didn’t particularly stand out. I ordered the Guilin Hot & Sour Rice noodles and the Braised Pork Rice Noodle. While the noodles were fresh, and the soup was decent, I found the flavors to be somewhat underwhelming. The Braised Pork Rice Noodle was slightly better, but I still felt that it lacked a bit of depth. Additionally, I noticed there was only a small amount of meat with the noodles, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the price is ok.
Went here for hot pot with pork knuckles once and it was delicious but forgot to bring my phone to do a proper review. Revisiting today for their pork belly rice noodles plus pork knuckles. Delicious and filling. The server was very prompt. Definitely recommended for a decent meal to enjoy. Parking: On street parking or Centennial Square Parkade. If you're opting for the latter, keep your eye out for 1st hour free parking stalls
The atmosphere of here is very nice. If I have to say something, there are too many customers, but the waitress has a good attitude and patiently guides us to order. The overall experience is still good!
Absolutely love the atmosphere at Momi Noodle, the tree inside the restaurant just adds a unique touch. Now, let's talk about the food – the Beef Stew Claypot is just out of this world! The beef is tender, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth. And the soup? Wonderful! It's rich, hearty, and complements the beef so well. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
So good! There’s so many generic Asian food options around town it’s nice see something with a great personality & vibe — and tasty and authentic food. The Don Don Combo was unreal. Server was a little underwhelming but still a great stop.Food: 5/5
