Whatever your hot beverage cravings are, I'm sure Moka House Coffee can deliver. Don't let the name fool ya. In addition to coffee, they also serve hot chocolate, tea, pastries, e. t.c. Their ample indoor and outdoor seating combined with the fact that they're located in a cute neighborhood make this an ideal spot for a meet-up/date. Plus they're open till 8!!! I searched high and low for a coffee house that's open "late" and I'm glad I finally found this spot. One noteworthy thing about Moka House Coffee: The 5-stars is for their carrot cake. It was simply delicious.
Iconic Cook Street village coffee shop, right on the main drag. Traditional coffee menu, alternative milks available. Good selection of food samosas etc. and baked goods as well as Ice cream. Good amount of seating, including an outdoor patio which is really nice on a sunny day. Nice relaxing atmosphere, decent coffee, local hotspot.
Went to a whole bunch of coffee shops in Victoria and this was by far my favorite one. The interior is great, lots of wood and gives off a nice cozy feeling for a place to study, hangout, or just enjoy a nice coffee. it's in a great location as well and parking is fairly easy to find. The barista was really helpful in helping me decide what to get I was also a barista previously so I enjoy learning about other coffeeshops and helped me pick out a good coffee. I got a lavendar latte with a bag of chai tea in it as well. I usually like to experiment so I was glad they were able to do this for me. Not going to lie it tasted more like a butter chicken latte lol - but it was still great! Also got the carrot cake because why not and tasted really good, although I believe it was just above $4. My girlfriend got a vanilla latte with latte art and it was also delicious. am for sure going back when I can.
I just love this place. Very good coffee. Beautiful coffee shop. I always like their coffee. I go beacon hill park and oceanside for a walk in the morning then visit here for coffee. That is my favourite thing to do in Victoria.
I had a cappuccino which was a bit milky for my taste. My wife had a vanilla bean chiller which was overly sweet. I like the atmosphere and the service is very good. The food looks great, but I haven't tried it.
Tiring day perhaps but no coffee at the end of the day really? The guy at the cashier on May 25th, end of the day didn't bother to look at me in the line right in front of the counter and ask or greet but started conversing with the two gentlemen who just entered. Discrimination right there. No courtesy, no training perhaps. Never again to this place as I drove from far looking at the reviews. Even the last customer who arrives before you shut your doors on any given day deserves the same service as the first ever customer you greet on Day 1 of your business. Poor etiquette.
I Liked the place. The mocha i tried was not really too sweat and i loved it. Overall, good place to sit and enjoy your coffee
Matcha latte here again : This time I have had banana bread as well. Morning walk in drizzling rain and Matcha in this beautiful neighbourhood makes me happy!! Ambience inside as well as outside is cool Worth it
Ordered two drinks, a large matcha latte and a large London fog. I was really disappointed with both. I’ve been here many times a few years ago and always thought the drinks were great. Both drinks had so much foam on the top, probably around 4 inches of foam. The match was very bitter and not so sweet, the London fog had so much foam I tried to use a stir stick to deflate the drink. Eventually I asked for some milk. The guy told his coworker to make me a new one. But the new drink was made so quickly it just tasted like water with less foam and there were tea leaves inside. I ended up not even drinking mine and just threw it out which I very rarely do. I’m pretty disappointed with this. Service is good but the product was a disappointment and a waste of money. I probably won’t go back for any type of tea drink. Or I’ll stick to the Starbucks across the street because their drinks are at least consistent.
Amazing ambience, nice place to chat or work a bit, patio is nice, so are the inside seatings. Staff are very friendly, just like people in this neighbourhood : love the summer fruit melody and smoothie! Gad been here on a rainy day and got to sit by the window to listen to the rain.
