I would like to firstly express, that I have been shopping here since it opened. The store is clean, great selection and even brought over items from the other store when they didn't have it. So this is where my displeasure comes in. I see that this FB page gives contacts for both stores. I was also under the impression that all MOA stores were the same company and related. Oct 17, 2025, I was on the west side near the Dawes location and since I had never been in the store I thought I would check it out. I had been told it was larger and beautiful. While there I bought a few items and I was very impressed with the store. When I got home and I was taking the plastic secure top off my Thai Chili Sauce, the whole top come off of the container. The glass was broken clear across the top. Honestly not a big deal I put the bottle and top in a zip lock bag and I had the bill. Today Oct 18 as I live on the East side, I drove to the location I typically shop at off 8th street as it is closer to where I live. I had the bottle and receipt in hand, so I could exchange it. This is where my displeasure comes from. I was told that the stores are not related. That I would need to drive all the way back to to the West side. Honestly I find that absolutely unacceptable. I left the bottle and receipt with the lady at the till. I told her I would not be back and I will shop across the street moving forward or at another Asian Market ABC. I know it was only a small item and you may think what is the big deal. Well for me as a loyal customer and appreciate supporting local. That you did not seem to value my time, gas and ALL the money I have spent in your stores. So for a $3.00 item you now have lost my future business and I will share my displeasure with your store policy that your store locations do not support each if you have an issue.
A big Asian store in Saskatoon with various different fishes. Different kind of chickens, noodles, drinks and some specific veggies. Staff are friendly and helpful, although I realized that one of them can't speak English.
Unfortunate price discrepancies with poorly labeled products and no help. Does not follow price discrepancy law either and insists only large companies in Canada are required to follow *the law*
I usually shop at the Great Asian market across the street, but decided to give this place a try today. As a vegetarian, I still thought that the selection of non-meat items in the fresh and frozen section was plentiful, but I had trouble looking for vegetable ramen. They had tons of seafood, beef, chicken, spicy, mild, soup, stir fry, etc. flavours of ramen though so I still think the selection is good. The only thing I didn’t like was the layout of the checkout area. In order to get from one lobe of the store to the other, you need to walk through the narrow checkout area, which if it were busy I can’t imagine would have been easy to pass through. I can’t imagine much can be done about that though since the physical store dimension is a giant “L” shape. Other than that I recommend this Asian market, and will be back.
it’s very clean and smiling stuff. Good job guys I especially recommend it to Ukrainians who are looking for something to go with beer.
