MK & Associates LLP - Tax Accounting

I initially purchased TurboTax's audit defence which was a waste of money when you actually get audited. I contacted MK & Associates and they helped resolve the tax issue and actually got me an extra refund. Marvin was very professional in handling all contact with the CRA. I would highly recommend them for any tax issues.

When you get the dreaded CRA audit letter in the mail, make absolutely sure you have professionals on your side, and that should be MK & Associates from my recent experience. I was lucky that my wife heard a radio ad for this tax accountant, because I don't think my regular accountant was familiar enough with CRA audits to protect me. Mr. Marvin Khoshkhassal was tremendously helpful, but when you hire Marvin (not "if" you hire him, "when" you do) make sure to ask him to copy you on all his correspondence with Revenue Canada. Otherwise you won't witness his brilliance and thoroughness. Remember, Revenue Canada is not a friend, they will try to trick you, so my advice is simple: do not talk to Revenue Canada, make a phone call to MK & Associates you're first call and let them protect you.

Just called them for tax inquiries and I instantly faced their poor customer service and response! Not recommended

I am responsible for tax matters at a large public company and often receive referral requests from colleagues/contacts seeking personal tax assistance both with Canadian and cross border Canada/US matters. I have referred many to MK & Associates. In all cases these referrals have come back happy with the level of professionalism provided by MK & Associates and very satisfied with the level of practical, solution oriented service offered.
