I'm giving this a four star based on the side of the fact it's off the highway and comparing to other joints in the area. A fantastic location just off the highway and comfortable restaurant to grub when on the move and looking for a quick veggie-friendly pan Asian fusion dish. I love the fact that they had multiple vegetarian options with humongous and plentiful tofu portions! The portions were oversized to be honest, but almost there with a varied wholesome portioned approach with plenty of veggies, proteins and rice. I regret getting the Vegetable Spring rolls as they were crazy greasy. The lady owner is a super nice woman and takes a lot of pride in her work and restaurant. Support local businesses!
This restaurant, compared to others nearby offering similar menus, has got to be THE BEST! Their vegetables are always fresh and crisp. No soggy, old broccoli here! This restaurant will make you want and crave your veggies! Miyako's is THE ONLY place I've found locally that has such fresh, high quality japanese cusine take out!
We got chicken Katsu, Garlic Chicken, General Tso's, House Special Fried Rice, gyoza, and egg rolls. ALL the chicken was so incredibly dry. Like it had been sitting out all day. Their version of General Tso's is not breaded or very minimally and not spicy. I normally order a medium spicy and sometimes it's too hot at other places. I didn't order it any special way here and there was ZERO heat. The flavor of the grease in the egg rolls was all I could taste. Their House Special Fried Rice had an interesting taste, a LOT of meat which is great, and was oddly yellow maybe lots of egg?. The gyoza were lightly fried and the sauce was good. They were friendly. It was prepared quickly. It was $85 for what we ordered. This is basically a review to remind myself not to spend my money here again. I should have chosen to eat anything else I already had at home, that I didn't really want, and saved myself the money.
was like a quick comfy little Teriyaki fast food restaurant with a nice cashier and pretty decent food, although sometimes the portions are lackingFood: 3/5
First time I have ever had bland flavorless Kung pow . Chicken was hard and tasted a bit funny . Tea was good soup was good . Sushi rice seemed dry like it was rolled this morning very little sauce on the teriyaki gyoza were fried perfect .
The food was plentiful. And it tasted great. Unfortunately something didn't agree with me and I got sick from it. Don't get me wrong. I loved every single bite but my stomach started feeling the effects right after I finished eating. I am giving it 2 stars because I did like the taste. The sick part took the other 3 stars. Maybe an isolated case here. I threw away most of the food which was a waste.
The food is consistently good and the service is always great. I'm so glad they survived the pandemic because it's our favorite teriyaki place in the area! Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options and they will customize most other dishes to make them vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: The kids in our family always love their meals. Parking: There has always been parking available and is easy to get in and out of the lot.
$10 for a full plate and a drink. Food is good, restuarant is clean with friendly staff.
Teriyaki chicken and beef was pretty good, although the rice needs improvement. The Mongolian beef was a very small portion and came with no salad. The packaging was a terrible mess upon opening at home. Finally, what's up with the payment screen requesting tip for a to-go order? I feel compelled to tip as my food is still in their hands, but this practice needs to go!
Ordered General Tao's chicken and the spicy teriaki. Hubby liked the spicy teriyaki, but the General Tao's chicken was hard and tasted strange. Also, there was A LOT of previously frozen, peas and carrots included in my General Taos. I couldn't eat it.
