Has a good selection of Spicy Chinese food in town, however can be a bit pricy and if paying by card there’s a service charge added. Offers both Japanese sushi menu and Chinese spicy food menu.
Definitely one of the best spots for Chinese cuisine in Ithaca. They have two menu options, both Chinese and Japanese. Always make sure to suggest your spice levels for you order as I've tasted their food a little bit too spicy. I'm a huge fan of their dried beef with scehwan . It's not too crowded which makes it a good place to relax and have some great food. Make sure to access their free salad bar as well.
Literally my favorite place to eat. They have the most delicious food especially sushi. The owner is an amazing, staffs are always super nice, friendly and welcoming. I highly suggest and recommend Mitsuba to everyone. 10/10
Great place, in town for work popped in quick. Very friendly people and amazing food. Got sushi at bar then a to go. Tons of food very good. Ya gotta go.
Wow. What a train wreck. I wanted to order a side of hibachi veggies and they don't offer a la carte. So I had to change my order at the last second to get what I wanted. They said it would take 20 minutes, we waited for over 40 minutes. The shrimp in my hibachi tasted VERY fishy. And the tofu was coated in a slimy batter. When we unpacked the food there was also hair in the bag. And on top of it all, the food was much more expensive than it should have been for the quality. Needless to say we will NOT be going back.
Sushi is better than anything else you’ll find in Ithaca: not NYC quality, but we can’t compare apples to oranges. Nice atmosphere and good service.
Excellent prices on Sashimi and Sushi. The Tempura appetizers were really good. No alchohol served but the tea was good. Service prompt and courteous. Lot's of takeout and delivery, very busy. Inside dining still not fully recovered from COVID19 but pleasant and nice to dine in.
I asked in both the item comment and order comment for omissions and they apparently do not attend to these requests as plainly stated on the receipt on the bag. 2 because it was edible.
So I have lived in Ithaca over a decade now i finally tried Mitsuba i must say i was surprised on how delicious it was. #yes
Basically a Chinese restaurant disguised as a Japanese one! Make sure to ask for the Chinese menu with pics which also has cheaper prices than the Japanese menu. Everyone friendly, karaoke is available. Only thing is they charge 3-4% for using a card which is a big shame. Not a fan of costs being blatantly passed onto the customer
