Mitsu Sweet Cafe & Sushi

My husband and I wanted to try this place, so this was our first time here. We arrived on Saturday evening at 6:45. We wanted coffee and dessert. There were no signs saying to either wait to be seated or to seat yourself, so we seated ourselves. After 20 minutes of sitting and no one coming to our table (although two servers were helping other tables in the area) I went up to the till because I wasn’t sure if I had to order there instead of waiting for service. I waited at the till for another ten minutes until someone had time to help the two ladies in front of me. At last someone acknowledged me and took my order. By that time, there was a limited selection in the dessert case to choose from. My husband and I both ordered lattes and they were delicious! The desserts were okay, but I won’t be returning next time we are in Moose Jaw.

Cutest little cafe! Their drinks are wonderful! Haven’t tried the sushi yet, but the atmosphere works so well! You normally wouldn’t think that a coffee shop and a sushi restaurant would mix and do well but the atmosphere just works and it’s very welcoming!

We went for our Anniversary/Valentines Day to have a little sushi and dessert. Pros the gentlemen that served us was very nice. The food and drinks were good. Cons were that there was no sign at the front to say if we go to counter or find a place to sit?? Also, dessert display was kind of boring.

Best sushi I've ever had. Coffee is amazing! Everything is made fresh. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Love this place!

Always good coffee and good dessert! Never been disappointed. Choux pastry is amazing here. Try the blend coffee--it is good!
