I hired Carrie Eritano to do our taxes two years ago. I choose the company based on all the positive Angie's List reviews. On my first visit to the office, I saw the flyer. They were offering to give you 10% of your bill if you let a review on Angie's List - AFTER they looked at the review and verified it. Well, that explains all the 5 star reviews. I did not have a good experience. Carrie insisted on filing a large sum of deductible interest on a Schedule A instead of Schedule E as our previous CPA had always done. This resulted in the loss of a large deduction. I requested that she file the interest the same way as the CPA always had - she refused and said that he had done it wrong. Long story short, I had to hire ANOTHER CPA to review the situation and determine who was right. He determined that Carrie was wrong and it should be filed on the Schedule E the way the other CPA had done it.

Carrie is the BEST accountant I've been to. I started being an independent contractor several years ago and was finding myself overwhelmed with all the paperwork and a lack luster CPA. Enter Carrie. Upon several referrals to go see her, I was not disappointed. She even reviewed my previous couple years returns and found some mistakes and fixed those. She has been a great asset to me and my company and I am always happy when I leave!
