We had a great time at miss wong! Our waiter Philippe was great! Food was good but not amazing. Food proportion was pretty small. I really liked lemon grass grill, it came with a salad, rice, spring roll and a choice of meat. What I really enjoyed was the music, the vibe and the ambience from this place!
Food: 1/5 Place: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Price: 2/5 Food was served 5 minutes after being ordered, so in short it was awful. Service is mediocre, feels like a money driven restaurent having a minimum of effort put in place until it closes down. There are tons of places with better vibes and dancing.
Came here on a Friday night with no reservations, we were happy to be able to get a table. I gave this place a 1 star only because the waitress was really nice and also for the good music that they were playing, other then that the food was blah and the drinks were horrible. I got there signature sour drink that was listed on the front page of there drink menu, and what a disappointment the drink was filled with ice, and half of the drink was the foam, I literally has 3 sips and my drink was done. So I had to order myself another drink, I got myself a expresso martini and I can confirm that it was one of the worse I've had in MTL. Also for the food we got the veggie dumplings there was nothing special about these...I got myself the chicken teriyaki noodles, there was not really any flavors in it other then teriyaki sauce, it was 22$ and I felt like it wasn't even worth the price at all. Will I come back for the food? NO
Miss Wong is an excellent place for a special evening out with friends. While the prices of drinks and food are on the higher end, the presentation and the taste are excellent. It has a good mix of Asian cuisine and Americanized finger food to go with their signature cocktails named after Tennis players, wine etc. The ambiance is fantastic, so plan to go to spend time there. This is not a place for a quick bite, this is a place for an entire evening.
Its a beautiful resto but the food is not right...Doesnt taste like the asian food that I love But service was nice, the drinks also but I will not go back. I was way too disappointed with my main course plate And the bathroom why do some door doesnt close...
Pretty place that reminds me actually being in Hong Kong! We went for my bday and you get the meal free! Nice ! Had a mojito, fried chicken dumplings, salmon tartare and a viet coffee crème brûlée!
Menu was inexplicably changed. It's now a third of the size it used to be, with some really good stuff taken off where's the calamari?? It was amazing We got watery cokes, salty beef and lukewarm chow mein when we ordered today. The dumplings were great but that's about it. Service was fine, no complaints there, but the food sucks now. I'm not one to even bother writing reviews like this but their food used to be incredible before whatever changed 2 months ago. Seems like it's more bar focused than anything, so if you're looking for somewhere to eat, maybe try somewhere else.
Decor and vibe is awesome but the service is really sub-par. Food was all right I’d say some are very good but others are a bit too salty. And to be honest, I’d isn’t expect big plates of French fries rather than some kind of rice we had a set menu. Not sure if our waitress is new or something, she got the drinks wrong, didn’t remind us that our time is up rather than letting us know ahead of time, she just brought us our bills before we had time for our desserts, we didn’t even offer us to take them home until we asked her. Not impressed
Horrible experience overall. The reservation was booked for a birthday party over a month in advance. Upon arriving, the tables were split up, it took over an hour to get a drink served to us. As well an hour in, we were only told then about a set menu at a set price per person. I even spoke with the manager as I was the one who booked & can assure I was NEVER told about any set menus. I had 3 people in my party with severe allergies, I would have questioned this 'set menu' had I been advised in advance. 2 of them couldn't even eat anything in the end. The reservation was at 8pm, we only started to receive food at 10:30pm!! The waitress seemed to be alone taking care of other tables and not ours. A few of us had to go ask the kitchen staff when we could expect food to arrive at our table. Aside from that several of our drinks had to be returned back as they were the wrong ones. They ran out of several alcohols & substituted as they wanted without asking, and they couldn't offer any of the beers on tap. All to say my entire party left after the food because of the horrible experience and the lengthy time it took to eat supper. Definitely not my idea of a party night that it was intended to be.
Hummm i loved my night with my friends but the general Tao chicken is way too salty boii u need to give it some love, but waiter and waitress are super nice Recommended dishesGeneral Tao Chicken
