Dining environment and service is good. Food is soso. Beef briskets noodles soup tastes good but the beef briskets are not delicious. Beef balls are not juicy and less delicious compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. My friend ordered roasted chicken rice which looks better than noodle soup.
Atmosphere: The ambiance in the restaurant is pleasant with a modern and clean design. The open layout adds to the inviting atmosphere.nnService: The service was average, nothing extraordinary. It's worth mentioning that despite requesting extra bean sprouts, they were not initially provided, requiring a second request.nnTaste: Unfortunately, the broth fell short in flavor, being borderline bland and diluted. It lacked the desired level of spiciness and richness. On a positive note, the fragrance of the Thai basil was a noteworthy aspect and elevated the dish.nnPortion size: While the portion size was satisfactory, the pricing seemed a bit on the higher side.nnValue for money: Although it may not be the go-to-place for pho, it becomes a reasonable option if there are limited alternatives in the vicinity.
Not authentic Vietnamese Phở. The broth lacks flavor, the noodle is not traditional phở style.nService is average.nHowever the location and ambiance are good. They have good ideas for a creative menu.
Miss Saigon is a staple for young people in Edmonton over the years due to their late hours. I’ve been to this location a couple times and I am reminded of why we don’t come often.nnEdmonton has a lot of authentic viet restaurants, this is not one of them but it is good for late night craving.nnPros:n- late hours for young crowds n- menu has good variety their double meals in one bowl is great for people who want both rice and noondles n- creative, I believe they are the only restaurant that offers the pho challenge and I think it’s smart of them to have a gimmick n- portion is large and fair for the price pointnnOne big con:n- Taste is below the average viet restaurant in EdmontonnBeef satay not sataying.nGreen onion cake not onioning.nBeef satay soup is watery, does not taste like satay at all. Disappointed. Beef satay is suppose to have the iconic satay flavour and it just wasn’t there. Could not taste the peanut or spice. I had their bun bo hue before and it’s the same thing. Something about their broth is not hitting right.nnGreen onion cake is really important to get right because it’s a staple Edmonton food. Their onion cake is not flakey nor crispy and the salt inside is not even. I ate 2 bland bites and got hit with a mouth full of salt.nnService from the male server is good . I think this place is not for someone who wants authentic viet food but it is for someone who wants a big portion size pho.nnI respect the idea of the restaurant, I appreciate their creativity of the menu and store concept but I have a big problem with the broth. It needs improvement and I hope to see their flavours improve at my next visit.
This place is so great for me. First time I went there with my friends for dinner, made me missing my home country. It's near White Ave and have many parking lots in the front of this restaurant. The portion is not too big for asian people and the prices as well. I order a double-doubowl that have two-side bowl, you can order two of menu which you prefered. Recommended for a special beef noodle soup and grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl. The service is outstanding. Overall, I will back again.
