Absolutely loved everything about Mineral. Came here for dinner, the space is super cute and chic and comfortable. We had some cocktails, and ordered a bunch of dishes from their menu and shared everything. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, beautifully plated. Can't believe we haven't been till now! The staff are also super nice, I loved that they introduced each dish as they brought it over. It was overall a great experience, the food was incredible. Best dish of the night, we all agreed, was the mushroom noodles, literally want to come back just to have that! Their bar also is very nice, I'd be down to come back even just to sit at the bar and have a drink.
What an evening! Our table of four were ready to order a couple of dishes for ourselves but with a recommendation of family-style service by our server Julia, we were sold - she also worked out our selection of 12 dishes into five separate courses. Our dinner was timed perfectly which made for a flawless evening. The flavours were bold and wonderfully balanced, there was just enough sweetness and acidity in every dish. Don’t be fooled by the rare sight of an overly-inflated-negative-review but instead be awed by the pretty presentation and the harmonious flavour profiles of Mineral's dishes for yourself.
Chef Danny is doing an amazing job in elevating Filipino cuisine. The menu is modern fusion yet it brings you back to the memory lane. Dishes may look different from the traditional ones but the more you eat of it - it will somehow remind you of that particular traditional dish. Everything is impeccably plated and flavours are spot on.
I loved everything we ordered in Mineral. It was my husband’s birthday & they served us complimentary birthday dessert. Everyone staff was very nice, friendly & attentive. A must try! We’re from NY, how i wish we have something similar near our area.
Amazing dining experience here to say the least! We ordered the pineapple appetizer, mushroom pasta, pork neck, short ribs & the Ube dessert and everything was delicious! The pork neck and short ribs were so tender and tasty. Ube dessert is a must have too. Sitting at the bar was such a vibe and the bartenders were attentive and friendly. Our server was amazing, so thoughtful and attentive. It was our anniversary and she surprised us with a desert! The beef tartar in bone marrow is a must try. We also had the seafood sinigang, the ensaymada, the golden rice, and the duck breast, all of which were good but not spectacular. Overall, a lovely experience and addition to the city, with one standout dish and four that were just okay.
Excellent. Most impressive establishment I’ve been in 2021. New place finding their path. But the foundations are solid. Great food, experimental yet keeps high standards. I was more impressed with the appies than the mains. The mains had very strong flavours which lack a little sophistication. Could use a little more subtle tastes instead of punchy but I’m knit picking here. Great job. Will come back for more.
The ambiance and service was fantastic. Definitely Filipino inspired. If you’re looking for filipino food this isn’t your restaurant. High class, really enjoyed the deserts, and the pineapple kumbo. I was expecting some more Filipino inspired cocktails, and beers. Wish there was a little more Filipino tastes peeking through!!
I don’t agree with all the big-talking reviews. It’s good. Not great. Overpriced. And I’m glad to throw down $36 for a small unshakable-shareable plate if the flavours and textures are special, but NO dish wowed me off of the entire menu. We ordered 9 in total - as pressured by the waiter. Solid 7/1 for each. None were great. Not even the little buns. The flavours they are “trying” to combine are trying way too hard. The pineapple dish has unpleasant and unusual textures, and the flavours are diverse but don’t actually go well. Prices jumped DRASTICALLY in the past short while, which seems unnecessary for the tiny portions and basic ingredients. Now, the service was very unusual. The waitress over explained the concept of tapas and almost refused to let us order a few dishes to start and then order a few more later. She said “we prefer you just order everything now, it makes it easier for us.” LOL. laughable. We still “ordered a few more later” and it was perfectly timed. It’s not my first day in a restaurant. She was off with her suggestions, we told her we were too hungry- and she suggested 4 appetizers, 2x of the bread, and 5 mains. She was Awkward and bossy. And Just laid down so many rules for us to follow it set the table off from the start. I’m stretching with 3 stars here. I just don’t get it. Not worth the price. Flavour and the food - just was not a 4. There is a disconnect here.
I recently ate here again and they managed to surpass the high bar they set in the past. Excellent service, atmosphere, but most importantly - the food! Easily the best Beef Tartare I have ever had in my life. Beautiful and delicious. Thank you Mineral! Highly recommended.
