Phoned to see about a 5th wheel camper and they would call back and the sales lady did. Except she was more concerned to make sure I knew it was closing time and was short, abrupt and to the point about the time of day it was. I waited on her to call back for over 2 hrs and she calls me at closing time to say it's the end of the day. Wow Anyways Minards kept one more in inventory that needed not be discussed or sold. So try Four Seasons in Virden. They have a travel service to customer on location instead of you hauling it to them.

UPDATE: MInards took our camper into their shop in August last year and had it till October and they fixed most issues and replaced water damage but still only siliconed window...well we now have a water damaged camper again and our emails are being ignored by the operations manager after she insisted last year that they would ensure that everything would be fixed no matter what as customer service was important. We bought our 2014 Mesa Ridge from Minards as we had heard nothing but good things about their customer service. Unfortunately, our experience was rather disappointing. When we took delivery the door was damaged and the blind was not functioning at all and we were told that they would order a door for us. A whole year went by and we phoned to schedule warranty work..leaking slide leaking window replace door etc. We took to weyburn (3 hours away) and left for them. They had it an entire month picked it up and we were told good to go. Door and blind were still not replaced window leaked now we have water damage that we did not have before and it is out of warranty. When I phoned to enquire I was told silicone works good and to use it. My husband called in and we are still waiting for a call back and it's been 3 Weeks!

We bought our families very first trailer from here(Minard’s) only a few months ago. We have a Hybrid vehicle that I suspected would not be easy to put a brake controller into, but they assured me it would be no problem. When I pulled home the trailer from the Weyburn to Moose Jaw, I noticed it was not braking the trailer well. It felt like it was pushing me when I stopped. Following the manufacturers instructions on setting the controller we were unable to duplicate the manual lock up of the trailer brakes. I spoke with Minard’s and they said on some trailers the brakes do not lock up. I took this as truth, since they are the “experts". Upon inspection of the brake controller ground and other wiring was hand twisted together under the dash with no shrink or tape to protect, just open, bare copper. They did send out some mobile techs to my house within a couple weeks, but it is still not functioning as it should. The service managers response when I told them they that this type of electrical work by the initial technicians is not acceptable was, "I was a hair dresser in my previous career, and I would never tell another hair dresser how to do their job." WHAT?!?! You would if your hairdresser shaved a customer bald when all they wanted was a trim and color. They then sent out another tech a few weeks later, and upon further inspection, they found a grease leak into one of the brake drums. They were kind enough not to make me have to drag it back to them in Weyburn, and the tech took the trailer with him. I week or so later, I call down to them to see the status of the trailer and they advise me that they have repacked the bearings and replaced the brakes. I ask them if they are able to make the trailer brakes lock up yet. They say they did not take it out and test it, and that I have to drive down to do that test myself. Who doesn’t test a set of brakes when you have done a major replacement and repair? Who makes the customer have to drive over an hour just to test it? I was extremely upset and upon talking to the Owner, I get the same result and answers from him. He also tells me that some trailers do not lock up brakes when attempting to adjust them to the correct settings. I talked to manufacturer Forest River, the brake manufacturer, and other Forest River Dealers, and they all agreed with me that it should be able to lock up when the brake away pin is pulled or at maximum(or high) brake controller setting. Upon burnishing the brakes in about 40 times(suggested by the Brake Manufacturer) on the way home and testing it they finally do lock up now at maximum setting, completely contradicting what everyone at Minard’s has been telling me. I am glad it is finally working, but the absolute nightmare with the way I was treated and made to feel like it was my fault the trailer did not work. Secondly, when we received the trailer it had been "PDI". Well that was a joke too. The fridge did not work on the 3 way system it was intended to, as it had not been plugged in. The push out had wiring that had wear marks thru to the copper due to it being put too tight from the factory, fixed with a simple move of one screw. I also had two buckets of water come out completely black from just wiping down the inside cupboards, walls, and floors. It was still winterized, and we had to figure that all out as first time trailer owners before going on our first trip a few weeks after possession. These are just a few things we found in an hour of opening hatches and exploring once we got it home. I am afraid of what we can't see and have not found yet. I understand some of these things from the manufacturer are not there fault. But when I, a first time trailer owner, am able to find and fix these issues in just a few minutes of digging around. I would hope an experienced dealer like them would have found them before selling it to someone during their “PDI”.
