Just tried since the reopening. Very large portions Super flavourful! Former city folk, rejoice!!!! We have some delicious cultural food without having to go to Barrie. Great job!! Kid-friendliness: Ramen soup was mild enough for a 6 year old
I am so happy that Minji's decided to streamline their menu. Now it's all Korean with a bit of sushi as well and my food cravings are totally satisfied! My mom's family is from Korea, and I grew up in Toronto eating from countless different Korean restaurants all around the GTA, so I can say with confidence that Minji's is LEGIT. They make some of the tastiest kimchi I've ever had. It's the recipe I've been trying to perfect for myself for years, and now I never have to bother because theirs is so great! The dakgangjeong is light and crispy but also savory and saucy. No idea how they manage that! It's so good. It's a big portion and comes in a folding paper style takeout box, so the steam can escape and it's not a soggy mess when you get it home. The Korean fried chicken is SO TASTY, better than KFC for sure. I order it plain so its kid friendly. Salty and delicious. The spicy soft tofu soup aka soondubu-jiggae... my go-to dish I try at every korean restaurant that offers it is flavourful, with meat and veggies and spicy!! Seriously. The only thing is I wish it came with more rice. There's nothing quite like a spoonful of rice dunked through a bowl of soondubu-jiggae. So so satisfying. And there's nothing better than that when you're feeling sick!
Don't judge a book by it's cover! Was skeptical about a restaurant offering Mexican, Canadian & Korean food with interior photos that did not look great, but we were blown away. We ordered the Pork Ramen, wings and a poutine. All were served with quality ingredients, fresh & delicious! Definitely a hidden gem. #midland #ramen #korean #wings

Very friendly, great presentation and great food! I got the MJ & Dynamite Do-Shi-Rak Meal box and it was just as advertised and so good! Vegetarian options: Sushi soup, stir fries, etc. Parking: In a small strip plaza with parking Wheelchair accessibility: Looks like it does, but I cannot verify this
No dining but food is great. Their customer service needs improvement however we went for food so will just move on. For takeout they need to ask if Cutlery is needed as we were visiting and staying at a hotel, we had to drive 15 mins from to get Cutlery very inconvenient. But the food is good, we only tried the Korea option so my comments are based on this. Vegetarian options: Tons to choose from or ordering is easy. Parking: Enough parking for approx 20 cars

By far the best restaurant in midland hands down. Generous portion sizes, top notch quality ingredients. Great variety of dishes to try! Every dish is made with love and care and comes out perfect every time. Beautiful presentation, cooked to perfection. These people love what they do and do it well. I recommend everyone tries this restaurant if they haven’t already. I love Minji’s!
A hidden gem! Really good food! And good portions. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-executed. Perhaps not the comfiest environment to eat at though. The chairs and furnishings/lighting could use an update.
