Mimi's Pub & Restaurant

Excellent! I had the soup of the day, and I was impressed. It was a potato spice soup. I would definitely have it again. My friend had the classic burger and it was one of the best burgers in a while. It was worth the money. Good selection of drinks, great service and phenomenal ambience. I love the location of all things. Now that red robins is gone, this will be a local hang out that's walking distance from home.

Beautifully designed and decorated restaurant with centrepiece pizza oven! Great atmosphere for the games! Friendly staff and ownership. Had the Mimi’s burger w/fries and it was fantastic! We came here excited for the food and the good prices displayed but we didn't even get a chance to try the food. The menu prices have gone up significantly, and the options are limited. I don't mind spending money on food but when a 12 inch thin crust pizza is $23, that crosses the line for me. I believe the reviews when they say the food tastes good but if you're looking for a filling meal for a good price, this is not the place to go.

Mimi's is a fantastic place to meet friends or make new ones. The menu is diverse, atmosphere is great The staff are friendly and helpful to suggest new items. The picture I selected is their pizza oven. The pizzas are amazing. Old world charge meets new age.

**Update Feb 2022** It has been a while since we've visited Mimi's, but I must say we were disappointed by our lunch. I understand pandemic and logistics but skip the premade chicken sandwich and pretzel. The fried green beans were interesting, the Bolognese soup was meh. Pizza is still fantastic so maybe just order that... *Disclaimer - I really want to love this place in my community Good food and great pizza. The repurposed car repair shop looks modern and clean inside. The bar has pipes running down the back for what's on tap, while a fancy pizza oven sit next to it. We tried the soup, a pizza, and a sandwich. The tomato soup wasn't bad, and reminded of home made soup. The Chicken Genovese pizza was fabulous. Good combination of toppings made it very tasty. I would compare the type of pizza to that of Formoso, but better. The short rib sandwich was also very good. Definitely a more premium sandwich with strong flavours. Although the food was excellent and we're definitely come back, pricing wise, we couldn't help but feel that this was special outing meal instead of a common drop by family dinner feel. Notes: - Went for soft opening, so food and pricing may change before official opening. - High chairs and children's menu available. - Been waiting for a place like this to open around this neighborhood for years.

The best pizza in town! love the atmosphere and fooood! my son's favorite pizza is Margarita pizza! the cheese with tomato sauce and basil are just perfect! their pizzas menu's have many varieties. I love the meaty one New Yorker pizza! so yummy! the Fish and chips are so good. we always order the Tempura Green beans, kids love it. Buffalo chicken wings are good to order with some beers. last but not least, Tiramisu is so so good! Fresh light cream treats. the owner is super friendly and love to see new people! you always feel welcome and happy! it is a local business that we love to support it!

I recently reserved the entire restaurant for my wife's 50th birthday. The Mimi's Team did a fantastic job, & made it a memorable event! Our guests were impressed with the quality of the food & drinks, the atmosphere & decor of the venue, & the friendly, attentive staff. From the first planning meeting with the owner, to the night of the party, I felt Mimi's cared as much about this event as I did. We'll definitely make this a regular destination for date nights & family dinners! Thank you!!

Pretty good for a local neighbourhood place. Decent thin crust pizza. Good french fries. A few craft beer options which is unexpected for a place like this. Would have expected it to be exclusively Molson’s.

We had our company Christmas party at Mimi’s, we opted for buffet style. The food was far beyond what we expected for a buffet style dinner. Beef au jus, chicken cordon blue, salmon with hollandaise sauce, they were all equally delicious and so fresh. The rest of the sides and salads were as impressive. Such a great atmosphere and the staff was so accommodating and friendly. Nothing was overlooked, everyone raved about the food and I’m sure that a lot of them will be going back again. Would love to have a party there again in the future. Five stars isn’t enough. Thanks Shannaz and all the staff at Mimi’s for such a wonderful evening.

Very clean and modern looking restaurant. The pizza was delicious and the sauce was really tasty and didn’t soak the dough. Not a big beer selection for a gastropub and happy hour drink prices aren’t a great savings. Tempura vegetables were nice and crispy but could use some salt. The server was warm and chatty but service was a little slow, understandably. It would be really good to see this neighbourhood pub turn into something trendy and hip by the time it’s true patio season. More local beers and unique weekend specials would be a treat in the summer sun.
