My first time trying this restaurant. It was a nice sunny day to sit out on the patio. Food was freshly prepared and portions were big. Prices are what I expected of Vancouver on the high side This would be a nice place to be when the sun sets on a summer's day. There are many planes descending to the YVR airport so it may be noisy at times. Definitely will be back with friends from out of town.
Great atmosphere awful food . Went here recently to enjoy a summer meal and enjoy the patio at this restaurant. Ordered the daily soupcod chowder nachos , ribs and pizza. Had to send back the soup as it was awful dry and chewy chunks of fish meat in a flavourless cream broth. The nachos were not layered so after the top layer was finished was left a pile of plain old chips. The ribs were a huge disappointment. The menu says slow roasted but the meat was dry and not tender at all. They just slathered on a tonne of bbq sauce to mask the poor preparation of the meat. The pizza was nothing to rave about. Overall the quality of the food was subpar, we didn’t enjoy any food served , the only good thing about this place is the outdoor seating . Would not repeat or recommend.
One of the best spots in town for alfresco casual dining with planes & boats passing by. Food is good, couldn’t find the tuna club anymore Service very much depends on who you get, but it’s a great spot to take a break from a bike ride at the end of the Greenway
Food was yummy prior to my flight back home. Loved the outdoor ambience of the place especially during sunset. Food took a very long time to come though. I got a gluten free pizza that was very good, just very salty due to overkill of processed meats.
DINING WITH TODDLER, FISH & CHIPS, BEEF AU JUICE DIP, KIDS MEALnWaited 30 min for a seat,nBut can see why it’s busy with the view of the river and all action around - flights taking off and landing right be the airport and lots of boats in the river driving by. Perfect for our 2-year old!nTook another 20 minutes and 4 people to ask before we got a highchair to our table. The food took 30 min to arrive, so total waiting time 1 hour from when we arrived. Luckily our toddler wasn’t starving or in a bad mood.nFish n chips had too much batter but otherwise the fish was high quality and likely local.nBeef au juice dip sandwich was tasty, although the side salad was really boring.nOrdered kids chicken strips with fries but asked if it was possible they could sub fries for mashed potatoes thinking this would be easy since they offer mashed potato in other main dishes on the menu. Waitress made it seem like it’d be no problem and didn’t inform it would cost extra. Costed an extra $4 on a $9 kids meal just FIY. Probably very standard but would have appreciated a heads up.nDefinitely a place to go for the location and view. Food isn’t overpriced in general so it’s a fair deal I would say.
