The food was great and the service was friendly and fast. The menu had a great selection of burgers but little else to choose from.
This hidden bar and grill the great city of Saint Michael is definitely worth a stop for a great lunch or dinner. The hamburgers from Millside Tavern are absolutely my favorite in the area. Very generously sized beef patties on them with a large amount of burger types from spicy ones, to classics like a california or bacon and cheese. They also have other great foods on their menu like a steak sandwich or chicken tenders amazing. The amount of fries you get with each is incredible as well and taste delicious. Great happy hour prices for drinks as well. If you are looking for a great meal overlooking the river in Saint Michael, stop here!
I think they're taking advantage of this "inflation" situation. Millside burger basket was $8.10 basket and now it's $13+. That's a 60% increase in price over a couple years. The prices keep increasing, the menu keeps shrinking. I can go to River Inn and get a J Burger for the same price and it's much more burger for the money. Their prices haven't increased by 60%. Kind of sad.. I want to support Millside but this just feels like greed.
Millside Tavern is a great place off the beaten path. My friend and I visited on a Friday afternoon. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was so very yummy . I do not usually get burgers because they are so big and thick but this burger was the bomb!! It was a thin and tasty patty. It took awhile to get our food but they were packed and it was worth the wait. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It seemed like a great atmosphere for families, as well I look forward to eating there again

Small and off the beaten path, but cozy. The staff is nice and personable and will treat you like you matter. Their food is affordable and tastes good. The burgers taste homemade and really hit the spot. Good spot to stop in and have a cold one with friends.
July 17, 2022. The last time I stopped here, that very old bridge was still right next to the Millside. Don’t know when the bridge was replaced. My guess is that it has been a bunch of years. The place is about the same. Great food and, unlike lots of other bars, very, very cold beer on tap. Pretty quiet on this day. No food for us, just drinks. We sat at the bar, near the kitchen. Holy cow the aroma coming from that place. Fries burgers chicken. Deep fried, pan fried, flat top fried. Everything a vegan would stick their nose up at. To bad!
Great food. Great ambiance, and great drinks. I highly recommend it.
Very dissatisfied with the food. I brought my son home a chopped steak sandwich. He opened it looked at it and said i’m not eating this !!! We discussed the food again in the morning and he said it looked like a square puck and really didn’t wanna chance eating it and getting sick. I won’t be returning nor do I recommend eating here!!!
Great hamburgers and fries. Service can be hit or miss, but still worth going none the less.
