My family and I decided to go to Milliken Restaurant on a whim, and we were so surprised to be greeted by not only great food, but super friendly service as well! There was a wonderful sense of community as each of the staff went out of their way to make conversation with the customers, and they also seemed to know most of their guests by name as well. We even had a chance to meet Joyce, the owner of the restaurant, who sat down with us and had a great conversation with our family. This restaurant is amazing if you want a great meal as well as an inviting and friendly, communal atmosphere to go along with it. I am genuinely looking forward to my next visit based on the service alone!
A place that serves warm smiles and hugs in the area. Breakfast here is nothing fancy but the old Canadian greasy spoon that warms you up, gives you the energy for the day ahead. The shop has been here for decades, food is always good, however business seems a little quiet recently. Gotta go there more frequently to support them because I really don't want to see this place gone. For anyone who loves a good old breakfast, please go there, you will not be disappointed.
I really like this family restaurant. I came here for breakfast. It is a friendly family restaurant. The seating is very comfortable. Very good price. I definitely will visit again and recommend it to my friends. There is outside seating as well. Lot of parking!

Sadly this review comes too late as I just learned this wonderful breakfast diner is being sold this week! What an incredible experience I had here... The food, the prices, and most of all the people were beyond wonderful! I'm sorry I won't get to enjoy this incredible experience once again, but I'm honoured to have at least enjoyed it once. I love this place. Joyce is a wonderful person and cares about her customers. The food is awesome , I love the breakfast meals , pancakes are huge and tasty. The lunch sandwiches are great . Club sandwich is my fav. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch . Go check it out .Food: 5/5

I used go to this place every week as this is close to where i work. They are providing Take outs during COVID in a n efficient way . I have tried many things from there Menu so i will name all of them. Wings- Both Small and Big are really juicy and cooked to deliciousness . Tuna & Bacon and cheese sandwich -Simple and great.The sandwiches are the best part of this place. Meatloaf is in their special .I had it for first time in my life.It was so soft and it melted in my mouth.It healed my headache for the afternoon. Homemade Burger - Every veggie tastes fresh with bun plus the meat is so tender and scrumptious . Chicken Breast Club Sandwich -I do not like Chicken Breast much but they cook it so good with fresh veggies and i loved this sandwich Fries -I can say with confidence that their fries are the definitely the best part of the meal and better than other places.So crispy from outside and soft from inside with that hint of fresh potato sweetness. The service is amazing as well.The owner Joyce remembers everyone's name by heart and have lot of customers coming back .Our Regular server Jen is energetic and engaging and is just a great human being. Then you have Kyle who is great with people and is also a sports Fan And will probably talk to you about American Football,Ice Hockey & Baseball if you watch it. They throw in complimentary fries with my sandwich even when i do not order. I keep going back their every week for everything they stand for. They also have Cold Beer,Bottomless coffee and Wifi. I highly recommend this place .
I absolutely love this place so much! If you haven't been here yet, I have no idea what you're waiting for. The food is incredible, the place is so cozy recently renovated, the prices are right, and the "feels like home" dining experience is tops! My go-to breakfast/brunch joint in Markham, hands-down. Their home fries are crazy good! Merci Joyce, Kyle, and Jenn!
