"When we opened the doors in 2010, the only thing we knew about the craft beer business was that we loved beer. We have learned a lot throughout the years., both about craft beer, running a brewpub, and being part of a community. We invite you to stop in. Try one of our beers. Try a different brewery’s beer. Enjoy our handmade food. Talk with your neighbor. Enjoy the craft atmosphere. Enjoy the shops around our business. Take a stroll to the lake. Come back and warm up or cool down with some great craft beer."

Another great visit here, we come every year while going to the races at Road America. First of all, let's mention the cheese curds on their menu. 10 out of 10. A must order item. My son ordered the classic nachos and loved them, and they are dripping with cheese and goodies. The menu was hard to pick from as the grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, Flatbread, and salads all looked great. In the end I chose poorly going with the Buffalo chicken salad and the Buffalo sauce very spicy and greens just didn't mix in my opinion. My friend got the same though and cleaned his plate so maybe it was just me. Finally the beers on tap list. Whoah, so much variety to choose from and it's one of the main reasons I keep coming back here. Two dozen or more craft beers on tap I think I counted? Parking on the street is usually easy, so this place is highly recommended.
Been here multiple times and have had an excellent experience every time. Service is fantastic and quick. Food is delicious; their brunch menu is full of tasty choices. They also carry energy city brewing which is some of the best beer you can find!
Went to 8th Street Ale House as a replacement for another busy restaurant and you know what ? It was really really good! The building is really big, clean and atmospheric amd very decorative in a pleasant way! The service was CLEARLY stressed and understaffed but did a great job despite that! The food was pretty darn good to! The cheese curds were some of the best restaurant cheese curds I've had and the fried chicken with Belgian waffles and tater tots were scrumptious! Try the 8th Street Ale House out, it's great if you ask me! Pictures are of the inside and outside 0f the building, decorations, menus, and food!
I usually would stop by for a beer or two, but this time we had dinner. Our burgers were great and full of flavor. My wife had never had poutine before so we had to order that as well. The beer selection is the most diverse in town, lots to choose from. The staff was very kind and prompt.
This place is beyond amazing!! I’ve been here twice and the food is always above and beyond delicious. The staff are GREAT every time! Definitely recommend coming here for drinks with friends or Sunday brunch with family.
Food is consistently good. They have on tap beer selection that they change out. And their staff is always friendly, no nonsense, and on point. Definitely a staple of Sheboygan that you must check out!
My wife and I stopped here for the first time for dinner tonight. We decided not to eat at the first place we chose after pulling up and looking at the place. Eighth Street Ale House has excellent curb appeal and the pictures on their website looked good so we went in. So glad we did. Pleasantly surprised by their upscale tavern atmosphere, fast service, friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. The only suggestion I have is to add an amber ale to the beer menu. I know sours, seltzers and IPA’s are all the rage right now, but we had literally just left 3 Sheep’s and I was hoping to throw back a couple Rebel Kents. Much to my surprise and disappointment, no Rebel Kent, nor Fat Tire. We highly recommend 8th Street Ale House and are planning on going back, even though they don’t carry my favorite beer…yet.
The chef does truly amazing things with his white fish specials each Friday, and has seriously upped the game for the rest of the menu as well! You won't be disappointed. Excellent beer options and some good wine as well. We love it here.
We called at the last minute for a table of 16, on a Saturday night, and they accommodated us. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! We will be going back!
Stopped off at the Ale Haus for Oktoberfest. Good beer, great schnitzel and a banging soundtrack by "Charlie Bucket". I've been there a few times just moved to Sheboygan and have never had a bad meal. Staff is friendly and beer is cold. The outside seating area is fun. Stop by and enjoy a meal, you will not regret it.
