Miller's Nutshell Supper Club

Walked in to absolutely no one greeting us. Bartender clearly saw us walk in. Then we wanted a table, about 6 empty tables and we were told it was going to be a 25 minutes wait. Then we looked at the prices.....wow their commerials say good food at a fair price.......fair must mean ridiculously high. We left and ate at schwartzendrubers (sp.) in Antigo.

We just got done eating there tonight. We have lived out of town for the past 3 years and now that we're back to Wisconsin we had to have a Friday night fish fry. We went to the nutshell because they have always been 100% consistent. Once again we had the best meal we've ever had! Even after coming back 3 years later, they were great! We have never had anything less then spectacular on every visit. If you're burned out from your local Friday fish fry not being as good as usual, you can trust that the Nutshell will be excellent! We're always so worried we're going to go somewhere and pay a lot for a disappointment. They're more consistent then anywhere else we've ever been! We had the northern pike on special for $14. Included a salad and of course the special bread loaf they bring out. We left happy and full with leftovers, all for $40 for 2 people after tip! Can't say enough good things about the Nutshell.

We stopped last year while on a bike ride and loved it. Stopped again tonight on way back from Antigo and I believe this little hidden gem has to be the best 'supper club' I've ever been to people are friendly , atmosphere is bright and very clean. Food is spectacular!
