This library is a fantastic spot for studying. It’s super quiet, providing an ideal environment for focused work. Many students and professionals alike find themselves drawn to its cozy reading nooks and ample resources. Whether you're researching for a project or simply diving into a good book, this library offers the perfect atmosphere to enhance your productivity. One standout feature is the abundance of parking options, making it convenient for visitors. Additionally, the library offers a wide range of resources, including access to various databases and a well-curated collection of books. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to dive into your studies or need assistance from knowledgeable staff, this place truly has it all.
The library is beautiful and there are many places you can sit down to study. It is also very well illuminated. The staff is kind and the place is always clean. Unfortunately, there is one thing that makes me give just 3 stars: silence is not the most important thing there. There is always disturbing noise, from groups of people or individuals who seldom talk on the phone like in a cafeteria this is not controlled at all. In my opinion, silence should be the number 1 priority.
aside from having all the things a good library provides, like newspapers, a wide selection of books, movies and music, a childrens section with it's own librarians, self-checkout, printers and lots of computers, the idea mill on the 3rd floor is such a boon and the people who work there are always such great help! having access to sewing machines and an embroidery machine is wonderful for those who don't have their own - they provide all the different needles, spools, thread, pins and scissors. plus, there's a cricut machine, a button maker, a 3d printer, musical instruments and so much more that one can access. it's easy to make a reservation for the machines on line too.ni'm so glad i wandered in there one day last year after i moved to winnipeg, wondering what it was, and got a tour on the spot by one of the friendly workers.
A great place for resources, books, WiFi, computers, for adults and kids for reading, yet not a quite place. people talking as they wanted, made phone calls and spoke as loudly as they needed. You can't thing it's a library-quite place for reading. A guy was talking loudly on the phone, a security person reminded 3, 4 times that he is interrupting others, but took no further action. My home with kids is by far better. The workers and security people are making another talk, laughter & noise. No one will think you need silence. If you want a quite place to read or work on your laptop, do not think coming here.
