Really nice park. Plenty of places to walk and to walk your dog. They have off-leash designated areas for a large medium and small sized dogs. They also have wading pools for your dogs in these areas as well. This park has fantastic swimming areas for kids, teenagers and adults. Great River side walkways to enjoy the wonderful vistas that the Columbia River has to offer! Very well organized and maintained grounds! There are a number of different sports activity Fields or tennis courts, sandy Volleyball courts, soccer pitches and Exercise equipment Etc. In short, a great place to take your family and friends and your dog when visiting Castlegar!

The city of Castlegar has hit this design out of the park. There is a water park with lots of pools, Volleyball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, play areas for the kids, and an outdoor fitness centre. Be sure to hit up the cantina and grab a hotdog or a burger.

The swimming ponds here are excellent. Such a beautiful sandy bottom. The slides are a pretty fun addition. Don't miss out on seeing the stellar sand sculptures. Outstanding!
