This restaurant, although very busy, was surprisingly good. The food menu is quite limited and the drink menu is a good size. The staff make you feel welcome despite them knowing you will be leaving in a relatively short period of time. The value is about par for airports but not a bad spot to stop to get off the concourse and away from crowds of people.
Pleasant surprise! Airport restaurants face many more hurdles to serving good food than many consider so it was a really nice treat to have good food and service while waiting on a layover. The Chicken and chorizo pot pie tasted great. A bit of a logistical challenge getting just the right amount of flaky crust and piping hot filling each bite but worth the effort. ;- The caramel carrot cheese cake is also notably good.
Great spot to grab lunch while waiting for your flight. Food came out fast and was tasty, Beer was cold. Service was a little slow and I wasn’t greeted while sitting at the bar, but the restaurant was extremely busy. I would still consider eating here again before my next flight.
Restaurant/Pub was hop skip and a jump to my gate for Montreal. Sat down and had breakfast until boarding. Had the Brewers breakfast 3 eggs sunny side up under done, bacon, sausages, home made fries and buttered toast. Went down very well.
We just got back from Cuba and the food there wasn't great so this tasted Amazing! The service was really fast, we were in and out in 40 min and we took our time. My only complaint was that the fries were cold.
Just too expensive. $13 for a pint and $22 for a small glass of wine are you serious?! $24 for a Caesar salad. Outrageous. BTW the ONLY salad they have is the Caesar, nothing else healthy. Come on guys, put a few more salads on your menu! We had the nachos to share, to be fair they were pretty good at $22 see pic. Probably the best value thing on the menu.
Stopped here for a drink between flights. The bartender was awesome, very personable. It's a good bar if you want to socialize, but not alienating if you don't. I had the Cobblestone Organic Stout. $13 is a lot for a pint; I was a little surprised even considering it's an airport. The stout was nothing special, but a legit beer nonetheless - I wouldn't be expecting anything super adventurous in an airport. I got a free sample of their Blue Wave beer which was also pretty good if you're into pale ales. Strong flavour. They were busy, but based on what I saw from others around me who were ordering food, the kitchen was pretty on top of it.
I went there for breakfast and both food and service was bad. My avocado toast didn’t taste good at all. Noone ever came to me to check if I needed anything. I had to wait for 10 minutes after I asked for the bill.
Don't let the reviews fool you! The food is absolutely delicious while the service could use some help to be a bit faster and more efficient. Either way, had a wonderful lunch with the gf and was pleasantly surprised by the flavours
Meal was great. Had Haddock Fish and Chips and Beer. Fish and tarter sauce was great. Beer too of course. Tried the 100th Meridian beer from Mill Street - it was good. Bartender was very good too. Worth a visit if you are in D gates at YYZ.
