Lovely facility and great selection of books. I come here a few times a week to work on my school work. Honestly this will probably be the last time. The woman at the help desk has had at least 5 long winded conversations about nonsense in the hour I have been here. JFC aren't libraries supposed to be quiet places???

Hello.... I was disappointed...with my meeting with the Children's librarian...yesterday afternoon.....l wanted to read a storybook...l had written...which had a great reception recently at the West Haven...library and was told to submit a proposal...and maybe there was a possibility...?? In the future.. I left feeling rathered discouraged...
I went to Finish a resume I had been working on. As I pulled into the parking lot there was a bus there, Low and behold the bus was there to help people with resumes. After listening to advice, I proceeded into the library to finish my resume. I found a very helpful staff there. Not only did they help me navigate a computer program I was having a little trouble with. But they were actually nice about it, And really genuinely seemed happy to help. It was a fantastic experience thank you.
Best library ever. I don’t live in Milford, but every time i moved to a different place, that library wasn’t as good as this one. It’s always quiet, and the most peaceful place you can ever imagine. They have books of all variety’s, and a computer where you can look up the name of any book you want, and if it’s in the library, you can see what shelf it’s on. There’s also desks where students can study. The register is quick, you check out a book or turn in a book, and it’s done under 20 seconds. I can’t imagine a better library.
The newly renovated children's room is a fun place to play and find books. It's well separated from the rest of the library so I don't have to worry about keeping my kid quiet.

The library is a wide open space and appear huge because of its layout with little cubby holes where you can study. Couches, video quads and artwork further enhance the experience. Two floors, with the children's library downstairs, mean there is space for everyone. This is a public space. I personally do not mind seeing homeless people. They are still a human beings. If they need a place to sit for a while, what better place since they have comfortable sitting area plus they have access to free information. They offer free wifi for laptop users.
