Emily Walden is an amazing asset to the Mile Bluff Medical Center. I switched to her as my provider halfway through my pregnancy and it was the best decision I made. She is extremely knowledgeable and helps her patients understand all their options and what to expect during that portion of their pregnancy. She takes her time making sure people feel comfortable and confident at each appointment. I never felt rushed or hurried when asking questions. Emily worked diligently alongside the fabulous OB staff to make sure our baby was delivered safely. You could easily see what a fantastic team the OB nurses and Emily made through each step of the delivery. I highly recommend Emily Walden as a midwife to anyone expecting a baby.
Check in was quick. All employees were friendly and helpful. My exam was thorough. The fasting blood labs drawn the next day were quick and I received a phone call the following day with the results which were also recorded electronically for me to view.
I cannot say enough good or thanks to dr Shawn Johnson, I’m same day care. He was absolutely amazing with my 6 year old, explained everything in a way he’d understand, usually doctors don’t explain much to the kids about their illnesses only the parents. He made him laugh so much & made a not so fun time, into a great experience & we appreciate him so much!
My daughter was experiencing severe lower left abdominal pain. I called the appointment line to make her an appointment to see her primary care doctor. The scheduler transferred me to a nurse and the nurse advised me to bring my daughter in to urgent care. It was busy, but we waited patiently. When we finally got back to a room and the doctor came in to see us, he said “This is an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies.” I told him that I had tried to make her a regular appointment with her primary care doctor and the nurse had advised me to bring her in. He replied, “Well, that’s PART of the problem….how about I meet you in the middle and do some lab work?” He returned to tell us all the labs had come back normal and said, “If I was a woman with ovaries I would just take two Aleve because Aleve is 75% stronger than ibuprofen, in my mind.” Totally unprofessional, dismissive, and insulting.
The staff is amazing! From the front desk to all the therapist! Letece, Meagan, Rachel, forgive me if I've forgotten names. I'm so much better & continue following their instructions! Thank you for helping me be more functional as well as minimizing pain!!!
I just moved from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area to live with my daughter and her family, she has been a paient of the Mile Bluff physicians for over 10+ years she recommended that I get my health care needs through them also, I've been seen by Lisa Olson and she has referred me to Greg Burgess fo testing on some other issues and I just love them both, they take the time to listen to me and talk to me about the diagnosis and treatment for it. BOTH Had the best bedside manner possible with me that I have ever experienced.
Dr. Napier is the best ! He is so caring, communicative and kind.... his surgery on me yesterday was flawless, I cannot thank him enough. And the entire staff was amazing ! Everyone was so kind and treated me so well and professionally yet caring in every way. Renee', Mary, Jackie, Kathy, Greg, Teresa, Terry, Chris....and I am sorry if I missed someone but they are great !, I can't thank them enough. Jerald Michels
I saw shawn Johnson the same day provider for I think the 3rd or 4th time today. And Its always a great experience he explains everything so well and actually takes the time to figure out the real problem. Always joking and makes the experience fun. I wish he wasn't only a same day provider because I would switch doctors to him if possible
I had hip replacement surgery on March 7th, 2023 Micheal wolf anesthesia he was phenomenal I'm so pleased with his work. Thank you so much. I would like to thank Dr. Grannell for doing my surgery, he's the best. Thank you to the nurses too I had the best care there. Very good food too. Again thank you again for everything.
This place is an absolute joke. Literally every time I've been here they have have found new and exciting ways to prove themselves incompetent. Dr. Rudy is, rude, unprofessional, and honestly I question how he even got a doctorate in the first place. He told me to WALK out of the hospital after multiple neck fractures. They missed multiple fractures in my leg and foot after a fall, and then billed the wrong insurance company. The list goes on and on, but if you don't believe me, go ahead and ask around. Almost everyone I know who has had the misfortune of needing their help has experienced a nightmare in some way or another.
