Ordered online. Veggie nachos, Milano special, 6 donuts. Nachos were large, enough for three people. Very tasty, although, like all nachos, I wish they would layer chips, cheese, chips, cheese, toppings. Pizza was really good, substantial even for thin crust. The cinnamon donuts were a great little surprise. Highly recommend!!
I've had pizza from almost every pizza place in Ottawa. I stopped trying new places once I found Willy's Pizza in Kanata. My son insisted I try Milano pizza since it's been a couple of years since we have. So, we did tonight. Great reminder of why I stick to Willy's pizza. Milano pizza had SO much less cheese, much less flavor, less sauce and an overall disappointing pizza. I know it's a personal preference so I don't want to be too judgmental but we'll never order from Milano again.
Normally I've had no issues ordering from here in the past, i always liked their pizza and I'm really sad to give this review but tonight's pizza we ordered the dough or something was not well made which resulted to us being instantly sick...
After picking up the food from the restaurant and the staff ensuring everything was on the order, I get home to realize the dips ordered were not included. This isn’t the issue. The issue was when I called to inform of the issue and request a refund of what they were offering, which was a credit of three dips, I was repeatedly told no, credit only no refund, only a refund for the one dip. This is terrible customer service and I will not be returning despite any attempts by management to rectify the situation, given management was given plenty of opportunities to rectify. Food was good though, so one extra star for that.
Vegetarian and vegan friendly is always a must for me, but the Milanos Hazeldean location gets extra bonus points in my books. I ordered a mixture of vegan, vegetarian, and carnivorous foods online, and the store called me to verify some of my choices so nothing was mixed up - something I appreciated VERY much. The pizza was technically late, however I understand our area was heavily affected by the recent storm, so it was somewhat expected and I wasn't upset. The lovely delivery driver apologized profusely when they arrived, and let me know they were the only driver for the night. They were probably stressed out, but still happy and smiling at my door. The store also ran out of a drink I ordered, so the driver chose a similar drink to that, and explained why they thought it would be good, plus gave me a backup Pepsi in case I hated it but it was delicious btw. Thank you to the entire location for a very positive experience!! Your delivery driver with multicoloured hair deserves a paid day off
This is my favourite pizza and garlic dip. I drive to Kanata for it. Service has a bit to be desired but very yummy
Nice people working there. Food is always delicious. They also have a specialty poutine place to add even more variety!
