Went in alone sat at the bar and ordered a Sapporo beer. Then got the menu reviewed it decided on the Omakase menu . Was told it need to be for two people . Then was told by server he could pick out something . Told him as long is it matched the cost of $80 for the Omakase. He then came back and said the chef they could do the Omakase for one. To me it’s yes or no but doing what was done is not right. This is the only reason plus the noise level that it got 4 and not 5 stars. Food was excellent and good value for quality. Server was nice over all but also looked pretty busy not sure why he had his phone out all the time when he went by figured maybe he’s taking phone orders ? Kind of odd. I’d recommend the Omakase for sure . Maybe Saturday night is super busy so if you like it a little quieter maybe a weekday? Don’t know as I don’t live here. Best Japanese restaurant experience in Montreal so far and I’ve had Japanese in Japan and many cities.
Went there 2 months ago service was really well, food was really delicious and it was an easy 4-5 star. Returned the past weekend and had a terrible service. Ordered a variety of sushi along with fried calamari and edamame. Regarding the taste the place serves some delicious food. But when it comes to service? its terrible. Waited around 20 minutes to have the waiter take our order we had to ask someone to ask the waiter to approach our table to take the order. Had to wait for another 30 minutes to have the calamari come first knowing that our sushi plate was done and clearly seen on the counter for 15 minutes and not on our table. And yea forget about the edamame, it never arrived. Not recommended because of the service.
The wait time was quite long but the freshness and taste of the sushi made up for it. SPIDER sushi was the best one there. I wished they had more options with shrimp on the menu. All in all, the interior is quite nice and food is fresh.

This Sushi place is a 10/10, even tho the service sometimes is a little longer than usual, personally doesn't matter when you have a good time and a good service! The taste is amazing and fresh this place is the best
Great experience here , the staff was friendly and was very kind. They lets us change spots to the more Intimate Japanese style rooms at the last minute. Kane the waiter was awesome and of course the food was top grade....fresh all the way.
Amaizing place ! I go to a lot of sushi places and this one is by far one of my favorites. The drinks are great, ambiance is nice, service is good. even tho a little slow The food is Flabbergasting! They have a lot of choice and the quality is definitely there. It's fresh, tasty and well presented. We enjoyed our dinner a lot! We will obviously go back.

Nice place, very clean. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. The food & portion was good, but the dragon eyes was a bit cold.
