Amazing spot in Edmonton! What a great find, my friends randomly found this sushi restaurant. We absolutely loved it! The service, food and ambiance were top notch. Overall highly recommended!!
Good food and great service. We have been here 3 times in the last week. The bento boxes have plenty of food and a great price for lunch!nMy husband ordered sashimi once. You don't get a lot for the price plus, they charge you for rice.
I ordered takeout at the west end Mikado and although the food is good and the service is excellent, I have to say they don’t give you that much food for the price you pay. It’s kind of expensive here, and one would expect to get more “rice” in the chirashi bowl that I ordered. The tempura was good. The fried batter could’ve been slightly more fluffier. Overall, however I really enjoyed the food; just wish they had added more rice…rice isn’t that expensive compared to the sashimi! See photo…that plastic bowl isn’t that big…could have filled it with more rice…there was only about two inches of rice in the bowl!. Come on, be a little more generous. People want to get their money’s worth because they work hard for their money. Hence the four stars instead of five.
Don't let this restaurant's location fool you! We were looking for a nice sit down meal after shopping with our out of town family and someone spotted this gem. We were pleasantly surprised upon walking in. The atmosphere was calming and the food smelled amazing! Upon browsing the menu we thought it was a bit too expensive for a late lunch, but after choosing our meals we realized that it wasn't any more expensive than any other nicer restaurant or even less even if one. The food was delicious and freshly made from the open concept kitchen. The service was also top notch, our server was very sweet and helpful. The four of us enjoyed our selections and even shared some of our favorites with each other for future reference. We sat in a comfortable booth but noted that they also offer private rooms. Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience we had, we will definitely be dining with you again! The employees also dressed in we felt was traditional Japanese clothing, adding to the atmosphere. 100% Recommended to anyone that enjoys Japanese cuisine! 5 stars across the board!
Found this place while exploring Edmonton. The Lunch Sashimi Combo was delicious as well as the Bluefin Gunkan sushi I tried. My waitress was attentive and very kind. Recommend to any sushi lovers
