Dr Schreiner is very attentive, personable and professional. She and her team made our family's experiences a great one! She was great with both my 4 year old and 15 month old, and didn't try to force my younger one to show her teeth, as she wanted to make it a positive first experience for her!
Starting over with a new dentist is really tough for me. Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Schreiner at Midwest dental in Mondovi and I can’t say enough about how well it went. I had a 2 hour appointment with considerable amounts of drilling and I can truthfully say I felt no pain, not even mild discomfort. The result, 2 teeth that looked like brand new! She is just amazing as are her assistants Morgan and Erin. If you are at all a nervous dental patient, this is the place to go.
The staff is great! always friendly and accommodating. My 3 kids absolutely love going to this dental office specifically!! That's saying a lot for a 9,10,and 11 year old. They look forward to their dental appts. they no longer have anxiety anymore ever since we started coming here. You can't go wrong with this office!! I HIGHLY recommend : : :

I was only notified when I checked in for my appointment that my dentist wasn’t there that day and I would just have a cleaning. Really?? This is something I should have been notified of ahead of time and perhaps given a rescheduled date.
Great service, with explanations of what they were doing and findings. Made us feel comfortable despite it being a dental office.
My wife, Karen, who has Alzheimer's and is totally disabled refused to open her mouth for Ali, the hygienist during her visit June 29, 2022. Dr. Schreiner coaxed her into opening somewhat and not only inspected her teeth, but then cleaned them and applied fluoride herself. Both demonstrated incredible patience with a very difficult patient. My appointment September 15th, again with Ali and Dr. Schreiner, demonstrated the expertise of both of them. I've been to dozens of dental clinics in many different cities and countries in my 87 years - some clinics excellent, some good, some not so good. I would rate Midwest Dental Mondovi as the best of all of these. The technology has, of course, vastly improved over these years. But the professionalism, friendliness, concern, and warmth of this clinic's staff is wonderful.
I went to my first Midwest Dental Dentist appointment on Tuesday morning before work... And I went to work with the biggest smile on my face. The entire staff, and experience overall, was a great refresher and reminder of how patient care should be. Dr. Young walked me through everything he was doing, explained all the "dental speak" to me, and made my whole morning with his amazing attitude and love of dentistry. Thank you Midwest Dental for an amazing experience! -H
Midwest Dental of Mondovi tortured me for 6 hours. My excruciating tooth pain started bright and early on sunday morning, lasted all day and did not allow me even a moment of sleep that night. At 9 am the next morning I called Midwest dental desperate for any kind of relief. I explained to the receptionist that I was in the office a few weeks prior with the same exact issue but that the dental surgeon they had referred me to had a 2 1/2 month waiting list due to the pandemic. Because nobody had actually treated the cause of my tooth abscess, my infection came roaring back. All I needed was more antibiotics and something, ANYTHING for my pain. I asked the receptionist whether I needed to make an appointment she offered one for noon or if the dentist could just send prescriptions to the pharmancy as he had already seen me for this exact issue. The receptionist said she would talk to the dentist and call me right back with an answer. Two agonizing hours passed and I hadn't heard anything. Desperate for relief, I went to Midwest Dental in person. There, the receptionist told me that they had had a busy morning and she hadn't had a chance to talk to him, but that he would be done with his current patient soon and that she would call me as soon as she found out. At this point, I've been in some of the worst pain of my life for 30+ hours. Needless to say, I was extremely frustrated, but I'm reasonable and there's not like there was much I could do about it anyway, so again I waited. Three more excruciating hours go by with no word. At this point I'm at my wits end, so again I went back to midwest dental seeking for any compassion they had. I found none. Inside, the receptionist told me that the dentist had left for the day and that she had not bothered to speak to him about helping me with my nigh unbearable pain. Maybe she thought I was pill-popping junky looking to get his next score? I have no idea. So I did what I should have done 6 hours prior, had I known what would transpire. I went to urgent care. I urge everyone to spend their money somewhere that has compassionate employees, not Midwest Dental.
Our family has had our dental care through Midwest Dental for many years. They are always friendly, kind and patient. We have a five year old that just LOVES to get her teeth cleaned!! They make the experience so comforting and safe. The dental hygienist are so patient with our very verbal child and make her feel so welcome. She has been getting her teeth "counted" and cleaned for a couple of years now and I can't even begin to say how wonderful the experience is for us both. I can even get my teeth cleaned at the same time as her because she feels so safe. They are a very wonderful group of hardworking people concerned about your teeth and health. They are great!!!
