Story

Home cooking as it should be! Real mashed potatoes, fresh-baked bread, bread pudding and stuffing made from scratch. Daily soups and chili made in-house. A selection of sandwiches and dinners. Our specialty is a daily lunch and supper buffet, with different specials available. Craving meatloaf? Wednesday is your day. Want hand-battered cod and perch? Friday it is. Pork chops more up your alley? Tuesdays are for you.
Breakfast is made-to-order with fresh vegetables (not canned!) and real eggs, the same potatoes we peel by hand for the mashed potatoes are used for our hash browns and American fries. The drawback: good cooking simply takes longer. The benefit: it's worth the wait!

Their food is always awesome, but I wanted a chocolate creme pie and when I went to open it when I got home, an hour away, I got a lemon meringue instead. It was good but it wasn't the right slice of pie I wanted.
Good food, daily and weekly specials. Fresh pie daily. Doing a great job enforcing Pandemic conditions, complete with sanitizer bottles on every table! Friendly staff. Good prices, had the meatball and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, was excellent!
Best chicken dinner ever!!! All the food is just Fantastic! We drive 30 miles one way and enjoy the best food ever. You can’t miss this place if you’re hungry! Highly recommend it

Been eating here since I was a kid. Currently doing business different than in the past due to covid but still great food and great service. Dine in or carry out. Room for one or two trucks across the side street next to the railroad tracks.
