We love Michelle’s Tacos and don’t know how we didn’t discover it sooner. Everything we have tried there is delicious. And we love the salsa bar. The staff is very friendly, especially the teenage girl and hat has been our server multiple times. This is one of our favorite places to visit now that we know about it. Thanks so much.
Amazing restaurant with personable staff and excellent food. Coming from Arizona, I was on the hunt for an authentic Mexican restaurant and this is the place! I eat here at least once a week. The salsa is freshly made daily and there is a bar where you can grab onions, cilantro, limes and much more. Some of my favorites from this spot are the chilaquiles and birria tacos; they’ve got some great desserts as well! Michelle’s holds a special place in my heart and I hope others get to enjoy it as much as I do.
I have heard rave reviews about this place and my boyfriend and I were very excited to try it. Before I mention the quality of the food, I do want to say the establishment was clean and the service was quick. It appears that there is a salsa bar, but I did not try that so I have no feedback on that, it but I think it's a cool thing for a Mexican restaurant to have. My boyfriend got the mole sauce on his entree and loved it. He said it was some of the best he's ever had. They do bring you free chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants in this area. This salsa is very onion heavy and it takes over the taste of the salsa. If you like onions, you will enjoy this salsa. If you don't like onions, you will not like this salsa. Same for the guacamole. There is a spicier salsa that is almost like a purée that is not as onion heavy and does have a nice kick to it. I ordered the quesadilla and like another reviewer mentioned the food had no sense of flavor and no taste. It seems that I am in the minority on my opinion, so perhaps it was an off night or they have a new cook who isn't preparing things properly. I might try it again, but it will be awhile.
Everything was delicious, the chips are homemade. They have different kinds of salsa. You can taste the hard work put into the food. I’ll be back!
Went last week, on a Tuesday night and the food was really good. I honestly wasn’t expecting the nacho portion to be so huge… but it was tasty and definitely worth repeating. Everything seemed handmade and with a real love of food. I hope this place goes far.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Very good, authentic Mexican food here in Rapid. Nice portions for what you pay. Lots of variety. Everything we had was incredible including the fresh tortillas. One of My favorite parts is the rotating, fresh salsa bar. It's run by a very nice family. I highly recommend swinging in if you're on the west side of town.
What a find. Service is fast & friendly, the food excellent. We tried a variety of things - all were great. The salsa was memorable. A tucked away location - worth the effort to find.
The food here is very good. Will be back. Tucked back out of the way but worth the search. Menudo is outstanding!!! Very friendly people.
Food was amazing. Service a tad slow but it was worth the wait
I came to this establishment from a recommendation. The service was very quick and staff was friendly. I did sit for a good bit for a refill, but in their defense, they were quite busy. The place looks well kept, but the bathroom smelt like old urine. The food lacked alot, the taco tortilla was the circumference of a regular coffee mug, and the meat inside matched the size of the tortilla. The meat was tender but lacked the seasoning I would expect from a Mexican restaurant.
