I received excellent customer service today. They help me place an online order so I could get a really sweet deal on some spray paint. I even got to pick it up while I was still in the store so I didn’t have to make a return trip. Their regular price on spray paint was actually less than that at Home Depot. The sale price was exceptional.
Extremely disappointed that all tills are self checkout, and manager and staff expect all customers to be the unpaid cashiers now. On several occasions, I've received attitude, eye-rolling, and condescension when they are asked for assistance at the checkout. This is an awful way to treat your customers and causes undue stress and anxiety. Customer service is non-existent. I'm not interested in supporting a store where shoppers are made to feel like a complete nuisance, or where there is no choice to deal with a real and friendly person vs machine. I'll be taking all my business to Iron Oxide Art Supplies, downtown Nanaimo 11 Cliff Street. Their customer service is incredibly personable and caring, community-oriented, as well as an amazing selection of art supplies with very fair prices.
Want me to scan my own items, no I don't want to. I'm paying for someone to do that- and get attitude when I ask for someone to scan my items.nnThe manager also insinuated I was stealing as I was leaning against the counter. First of all WHY would I steal from micheals when I'm purchasing $200 worth of supplies? Excuse me? I won't be back because of the manager Josh. And I REFUSE to scan my own items because you and your staff are lazy.
Could not find staff for assistance and when I said I would prefer not to use self checkout the girl rolled her eyes and said I guess I can help you but it's more convenient for us if you use self check out. There was no other customers in the check out area and the store wasn't busy. Horrible service
It's a typical Michaels store. But I found stock somewhat limited, and the store just seemed kind of out of sorts like messy a bit. Not one of nicer Michaels I've been in. But I still give her four because I love Michael's stores!
