This is my go to store for all my craft supplies. I crochet and do cross stitch and I buy all my stuff here. They have all the dmc floss colours I need and a variety of yarn when I crochet. I love their Christmas and Halloween displays. If you have never been here you must give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
Halloween decor is in stock at Michael's! They have a colorful selection of yarn too! Can't wait to finish knitting my scarf and getting new materials for my next project at Michael's! Each ball of yarn is $6.99! Where can you find a price like that? : must have!
A good starting place for quality crafting items. I picked up gesso, acrylic paints, brush cleaner, super sculpey clay, and some higher quality colour pencils. I had my eye on some selections of canvases, and oil paints, and oil paint brushes, but budgets are a thing, and I had to decline emptying my pocket book on art supplies. The store is clean, bright, and easy to navigate. Not too keen on there only being self check out at this location, but the abundance of craft supplies to choose from outweighs my disdain for self check out kiosks.
This review is related to their online pick up system. The pick up orders are placed on an open shelves in open area. No employees to verify identity. Anyone can walk in and take other's people order. Totally unsafe. They should adopt system like sportchek, where they have a locker system. You can a code to unlock the locker when the order is ready for pickup. Much more secure and less headaches.
Now I should start by saying I love this store, shop here a lot but something stupid I experienced this time around and i don’t agree with what I was told.nFirst I chose 2 travel drink mugs off the same shelf, one was purple/blue with black cats for 24.99 And the other was smaller pink and orange. For 19.99. Both under the same sale price of buy 1 get one free. She said because one is Halloween themed and the other not, that deal doesn’t apply. This makes no sense since they r in the same shelf and this totally limits choices. So they lost my sale. I refused to pick something I didn’t want just to get a free Iran.nSecond, I chose 2 Halloween decorations both by Ashland, both the same price listed on the tags for 39.99, both under the same sale price of but 1 get 1 free, but was told because they were displayed in different aisles, the deal didn’t apply. Again makes no sense. So I went bk and decided to choose 2!of the same items and when I scanned it it was $20 more each, so it scanned for $49.99 each. I said well you should honour what the item’s tag listed it for, and she would not do it. So again, I decided to not to purchase them.nThis was a pretty confusing experience and the first time I was pretty disappointed. None of it made any sense at all so they lost under $100 of money they could have gotten from 1 customer. They should look into this.nSincerely a loyal customer.
