Dr. Likness has performed sinus and/or nose surgery on my husband, daughter and myself. We have had great results - the surgeries resolved our breathing issues. Dr. Likness is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. He is honest about what medication and surgery can and cannot accomplish, and offers choices in treatment when appropriate. We wholeheartedly recommend him and his staff.

Because of the pandemic, I met Dr. Likness through telehealth services. I had to wait a while before getting the thyroid biopsy he recommended getting one scheduled where I live in Norfolk, but once done and results returned, he called to say they were suspicious and he recommended a thyroidectomy. I trusted his judgment and underwent the surgery he performed last week he's an awesome surgeon. He was absolutely right in that it needed to be removed with cancer found and fortunately contained. Even if cancer hadn't been found, I still felt his recommendation was sound. I will now work with him over the next two years to assure my hormone levels stay balanced. I know this might sound silly, but I feel he saved my life. Doctors don't hear that enough, but they should. I'm grateful he was recommended to me in the first place, and I look forward to working with him in the future.
