Service was excellent, food tasted fresh and the Cantaritos were perfect they tasted like they actually put grapefruit in it ,which a lot of places don't , it was clean and very friendly we are definitely coming back
The Pazole was good. First time I have ever had it. My wife enjoyed her sopitas. Only reason not 5 stars is the ambiance is a bit lacking.
Tasty warm chips greet you when you arrive. Margarita was decent. I ordered Camarones a la crema which was ok, I have had better. The best part was the fresh, thick homemade corn tortillas. They were so good! Experience was good enough I would like to try it again.
Ordered caldo de res to go. There was hardly any meat or vegetables. There wasn’t any rice with it either. It was more of the broth than anything and pricy for what I got.
I placed an order to go and was not impressed. When I arrived to pick up the order she was on the phone the whole time. Personal phone call, not another to go order After she saw that I had left a tip she then added chips and salsa to the bag. The tamales were oka in flavor. Nothing worth going back.
So at first glance it is cleanly decorated. But surprisingly empty as only one other customer was dining tonight. The restaurant is family ran. A dying part of family establishments. That being said, the food was flavorless. Presented with no flare, style or thought. Now I understand why it has no customers.
