Really good food and very nice staff. Tender chicken. Tried the lamb shank and it was very tender and had a nice light flavour. I really liked the rice, salad and table bread that came with the lamb shank dish. We always have a great time here.
The whole aspects of our visit were good. The people are great and welcoming, the food is tasty and the meat is really tender. I liked the cleanliness of the place. We had a good chat with the waitress on the rice recipe : definitely we will visit again.
This cozy restaurant has always amazed us and has always left the best impressions! Hospitable and kind hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, delicious tea and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
Absolutely LOVED the food from here. I ordered the chicken breast kebab platter, it came with a nice rice pilafc salad with in-house dressing. Everything tasted so good. The chicken was super juicy and tender. And the flavors were AMAZING.
All I can say is this was probably the best meal I has ever!!!!! The most pure fresh authentic afghan food so much flavourful in the rice and the meats it's just amazing!!!! Wow I couldn't believe it. Amazing service an absolute amazing owner such a clean friendly restaurant definitely most definitely will be back.
We were looking for Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan restaurant to try difference food, but not available. So we settled with Afghanistan food. Surprisingly, very good. We order Uzbek rice with lamb, #5, Mantu, and cheese naan bread. Great price, quality food, friendly service, and clean restaurant. We are definitely returning to the restaurant, because there was one dish that almost every table ordered the we did not try. We went back again for dinner and again, great food, great service. We also ordered milk pudding not sure about the name and they just gave us as a complementary. 10/10 Kid-friendliness: We were there with 10 and 13
Authentic Afghani cuisine, Qaboli Uzbeki rice with raisin, carrot and beef Beef Qorma, mixed kabab with sauce and salad; delicious. the taste was amazing and the kabab marinated in a great way and very juicy. I ordered the family pack of 5 people and it was more than enough. thank you for the quality service, highly recommend
A must place to try if you like Afgani food. Tried their different kind of kababs and everything was full of flavours and spices. Really liked the food.
My first visit to her is the restaurant, the food was more than wonderful and very tasty, a table that includes dishes from the Middle East. With delicious Afghani dishes, I advise everyone to visit this restaurant.
It is THE best Afghan restaurant in Ottawa. They cook very authentic Afghan and Uzbek dishes. Make sure you try their Qabuli Uzbeki, Mantu, and Vaziri Kabob. They also have amazing fresh bread. The owners are extremely friendly and polite.
