Mexican Village Restaurant

We have tried this place in the past and it was so-so. We recently discovered they were on Restaurant Impossible and had to try it again. It was a definite improvement! Much better food, environment, and live music even. We will definitely be back!

Great tacos! Really weren't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Only reason I'm not scoring a 5 is they were out of spicy pork and chorizo, both of which we tried to order.

A fair experience with tacos here. I ordered chicken and chorizo tacos. The chicken were oK a bit heavy on gravy/sauce, the chorizo tacos were really good and spicy. I got chips and pico de gallo. Not the pico I am used to but it was good. Overall this would be a 3.5 for me but rounded up because the take out was very well packed.

Went here on taco Tuesday. For a $1 a taco, i can’t complain much about the taste. It isn’t south side level but decent if you need your taco fix and can’t go to the south side. I found a piece of metal in my beans and rice. I will not be coming back here because of that.

Went to eat there on a trip to Milwaukee. Definitely worth it! Got food to go after 20 min drive food was still hot. Rice and beans as sides were best I ever had! Well eat there anytime we are in Milwaukee.
