So glad we found this place! Delish menu, large yummy drinks, chips to start was great. Service friendly. Was out of fried ice cream and could use a good dusting and window cleaning. Would recommend and go back.
Visited once before and super enjoyed the visit and especially these nachos. Came back today as I’ve been chasing the high from these nachos since last time only to be disappointed. Just fell flat today, they are honey hot flavour but today tasted mostly like franks hot sauce and nothing else.
Peter, our server was exceptional! He was attentive, anticipated our needs prior to us even having to ask such as bringing water when he greeted us plus extra napkins. He then even brought more cold water in a beautiful empty liquor bottle. He was there without being obnoxious, he did not rush us, did not swoop in to ask for payment while we were still eating. He was friendly, kind and really lovely. We could not praise him enough and when he brought over his manager, we passed along the same sentiments. We tipped generously on our bill - splits with the kitchen he said -plus gave him an extra cash tip for he more than deserves it! The food itself was bad and quite expensive. Flavourless. I had chicken fajitas and my husband the beef. The wings were also to be medium yet were BBQ. Peter, you were so amazing and we thank you for the great experience!

We have been here a few times now and everytime we love it! It is a favorite with the kids and parents The food is always great and the service is outstanding. Our server Emma this past weekend was amazing. She really made our night. We also felt quite comfortable on their patio. Well shaded and lots of space between the tables.
Ordered dinner for 2 fajitas and recieved no chicken only a bunch of grilled onions and pepers then opened the rest of it only to find the portions are completely irrationally small for apparently 6 fajitas. The flavor was pretty disappointing and the cost was ridiculously expensive. Definitely won't be dining here because the service was just as bad as the food.
First thing first, service was excellent. The chips nicely done and the salsa was fresh with a hint of halopineo, not enough to burn out your mouth. I ordered the nachos Chipotle chicken with honey Chipotle sauce, very nice. Thought there was a little bit too much sauce on the nachos but were great anyway. Enough for 4 people. I also ordered the steak fajitas, I must say you get your worth in what you ordered compared to other fajita and steak restaurants in ottawa. The steak was tender and the veggies were well done, loved the pickled red onions for my fajitas would of liked more should of ask for extra. For the money I paid I got 3 times more steak than the other restaurants. So if you want fajitas and nachos go to mexicalis you won't be sorry. Honest opinion.
The food was tasty, quick and large portions, but the description of what we were actually ordering was a little misleading. Our server was fantastic. The embiance was perfect, but the table was pretty small and got crowded quickly. Vegetarian options: I didn't order the vegetarian dishes, but they were identified on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room is wheelchair accessible, and there are tables that could accommodate wheel chair accessibility.
First time stopping at this restaurant on a whim Food is exceptional, portions are more than adequate, Peter our waiter was fantastic with his friendly service and atmosphere on patio is great! Will definitely come back again!
We had a private party for 40 at the back. There was plenty of room to move around and mingle. We ordered several appetizers and fajita dishes for sharing as guests were on the move chatting. What a gem! Kid-friendliness: Great party room at the back! The setup and decor is a setting for a classy party. The staff were very accommodating to setting up the room however we desired. The food was really good!
