Metropolitan Dental Centers

I went to Metropolitan Dental Center in Waterford, MI because I had two areas were my gums were receding and was told I needed subepithelial graft surgery. Dr. Steele wanted to cut the roof of my mouth and take tissue grafts from there and then attach it the receding area with stitches. This procedure was going to be extremely painful and would have taken weeks to heal. Because Metropolitan Dental Center got greedy and then really pissed me off I decided to cut my loses and find another periodontist to do my surgery. That is when I found Dr. Fandino and couldn’t believe how lucky I was I found him. He was able to do the exact same thing but with no cutting, no stitches and no pain. It’s called a pedicle soft tissue graft and only a few periodontist know how to do it. I had the procedure done two days later and the results were amazing. Not only were my gums fixed it cost over $1,000 less then what Metropolitan Dental Center wanted.
