On November 22, 2025, the Anirevo Convention was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. This was their first con here in Toronto. You can buy tickets online the special ones. If you want the single day passes, you have to go in person to buy it. Which my friends and I did.nnThe con ran from Friday to Sunday. They had all sorts of events lined up and a variety of vendors in the Artist Alley. The con was held in the North side/portion of the building, as the south side had a different event/con going on.nnThere were plenty of different kinds of merchandise there. From keychains to enamel pins/badges, bookmarks to metal bookmarks, tote bags/bags to a variety of hats, clothing jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, etc, posters, artworks, prints, cards/postcards, commissions, stickers, gacha, keyboard caps, mugs/cups/bottles, plushies, etc.nnFor food options, we ate outside of the con. Used Google Map to find a restaurant nearby and a dessert place for snacks. Cheaper than getting food inside the con.nnMy friends and I purchased merch. I certainly bought quite a bit of merch... As shown in my photos ehe. Price wise - the singular items usually cost more. The bundled items cost less as it comes in a package deal example: 3 for $35. Depends on the value, quality, and size. And your checklist.nnCertain photo shoots for certain games were rather disappointing as the photographer didn't know the entire game only knew one character and not the rest. Messed up the rules of how to photograph the different cosplayers characters. Ended up being a 10 min photo shoot instead.nnOverall, the con was quite busy. An ocean of people. Lots of cosplayers. The variety of merch ended up being more keychains then anything else, however the keychains were of different characters/games/OCs. Merch is good. My wallet is crying. But my heart is very joyous.
Food fest was a nice vibe it's just that the location was quite small to have an event like this. I found for 30 dollars entrance fee it was a lot for what I went to see. They need more food trucks with different foods. How do you have two taco trucks in one space. This would be best as an outdoor event . I did appreciate that they had a dj who was on point each day. I also liked that they had a health food section which gave a good balance and offered more to do.
We visited the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the T.O. Food & Drink Fest, and the overall experience was very smooth from the start. Check-in and badge pickup were easy, and everything was clearly organized with signs showing where the lines began and how to move through ticket scanning and up the escalators. The event map helped a lot, and vendors were easy to find. There was a great mix of food, drinks, desserts, chocolates, warm meals, and even merchandise, plus short chef demos and fun bartending classes happening throughout the festival.nnThe venue itself handled the crowd well, and the aisles were clearly marked, which made walking around comfortable. It was nice to see live chef presentations where they explained dishes step by step.nnParking is available in both the North Building and South Building garages, which is convenient, but it is on the expensive side.
I recently went to the Canadian Autoshow and trust me it was a fun experience. First of all you get cheap tickets, especially if you paid online. Adding on, you get numerous levels and space with variety of cars, ranging from exotics to classics to present to future. There was also stores like the Hotwheels store and the Lego store. It was a very amazing experience, however there are not much food stores to buy food from. As well as they are pretty pricey. It was also crowded so going earlier in the morning is better than noon to afternoon.
We were just there for auto show and it did not disappoint. Numerous levels and ample of rooms for a crowded event. Also multiple access to washrooms, there’s always one nearby
