I recently visited this supermarket, and the experience was both convenient and enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, the store felt well organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Each aisle was clearly labeled, making it simple to find everything I needed without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.nnThe product variety was impressive. The produce section was especially noteworthy, offering fresh fruits and vegetables that looked vibrant and well stocked. The meat and dairy sections were equally reliable, with plenty of options and clear labeling. I also appreciated the wide selection of pantry essentials and international items, which made this supermarket a one-stop shop for everyday needs as well as specialty ingredients.nnCustomer service added to the positive experience. Staff members were friendly, approachable, and quick to assist when I had questions. At the checkout counters, the process was smooth and efficient, even during busy hours. The cashiers were polite and ensured everything was handled with care.nnAnother highlight was the store’s focus on cleanliness and organization. Kudos to the amazing cashiers and other employees at Metro on Arthur. We have been long term shoppers at this store and used to be extremely satisfied. Lately, we've been surprised by the lack of product some days but especially appalled by the amount of expired product cheese curds, yogurt, Kraft chocolate hazelnut spread just this past week. This should not be happening weekly. We now have to check everything. Metro should be preventing expired products from being on the shelves. Food is too expensive to get home only to find you have purchased expired goods.
The girl working in bakery was so wonderful. The way she made my experience wonderful is the real definition of great customer service. She went above and beyond to help with my dietary restrictions in the cake i was purchasing. The way she answered all my questions was just amazing.
Every time we go into this store the elderly staff are always complaining how busy it is and how brutal the younger staff are. Zero professionalism. Do you honestly think your customers want to hear this. For clarity sake this is not a one time occurrence, this has been observed several times. After this final time we have decided to shop elsewhere from now on. 15 years of loyalty gone.
Unfortunately they didn’t have what I was looking for, but the staff was still nice. The store was clean, smelled good and had a lot of seasonal things like the pumpkins and squash! Their hours are currently as seen in the photos 7am- 11pm.
