This is absolutely my favorite Ethiopian place and maybe favorite restaurant period. Food is amazing, ambience is pleasant and cozy, and the service is efficient and friendly. The meat dishes are unbelievable and there’s really good veggie options. Cannot recommend more strongly.

Very excited to bring my husband and some friends here, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the owner is very sweet. We will be going back!

Recently I’ve been trying to get more beans into my diet. Meskel has made it so easy to incorporate yummy lentils with the vegetarian plate. It’s so good, I’ve gone back countless times now! Since COVID, they’ve taken safety precautions and I’ve been getting take out.

This place is so good and such a good deal! I'm obsessed with the lamb tibbs and mango juice. The owner and her family are really nice as well. I've eaten here more times than I can count and I'm not planning on branching out anytime soon.

This place is fantastic and a POC women owned restaurant! I ordered food to go on a recent visit to Seattle and the dishes were all very fresh and authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The owner was very kind and accommodating when I picked up the food. Definitely recommend checking out if you’re in the area.

There's a reason this restaurant has gotten so much good press. I've tried a lot of different Ethiopian restaurants in Seattle and other cities and this one is by far the best! The service is attentive and the food is delicious.

This place has such amazing authentic food! So comforting and delicious. Prices are good and I will definitely be a repeating customer.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent, especially considering the times! I definitely plan to eat again soon!
