Great place to visit with my 4 and 6 year old grandchildren. We all had fun looking through the museum and taking a ride on the carousel. A week later my grandson is asking if we can go back because he enjoyed it so much.
Love this whimsical museum. Steeped in history the displays go back to the early 1900s. Ride the indoor carousel. Learn about famous carvers, visit the gift shop. Not to much walking, but lots to see.
Such a gorgeous museum! My younger sibling who hates museums with a burning passion loved this small museum! The main attraction the merry go round was a blast. Very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend
Seriously guys if you're in the sandusky area don't miss this! The carousels are amazing, the host informative and enthusiastic, the gift shop fill of delights. And there's the merry go round itself!! I'm a plus size woman but I rode just fine and it was so much fun! Truly unique.
What a cool place! Way more interesting than I expected a carousel museum to be. Also the fastest carousel I've ever been on! Cute little place to spend an hour or so. They even had a carver there so you could see the process and ask questions.

Lots of beautiful hand carved pieces on display most of which are over 100 years old. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. I was fascinated by how much work goes into each horse. Even the building is pretty as it is an old post office. Definitely worth a visit.
Really neat little history museum! 1-3 hours is plenty of time to allow. Docent knows a lot about the backgrounds of the pieces and is easy to talk with.Admission fee includes one ride on their antique Carousel, and it's a great ride for all ages. I thought it worth the fee.
A lot of fun, great for kids with a mix of history, skill and artistic value! Very worth the visit, with the added bonus of a carousel ride woth admittance it will have you nostalgic and impressed.
So cute loved it took my baby and rode the merry go round.
