Mern's Place

Melissa was running the show solo and did an excellent job, making our visit extra special. The little details, like splitting our "bowl" of chowder into 2 cups because she heard us say we would share, shows great attention to detail and care for the customers. First time trying creamed lobster and it was super good, together with the super light yet crunchy batter on the haddock was so delicious I wish I'd ordered two specials! It even included a slice of pie, making a $15.75 meal feel like it should have been $30+ easy. The fish chowder was also amazing, with tiny cubed potatoes and such intense yet not overpowering flavour, I cannot recommend it enough.

OMG the clams were delicious and my daughter had lobster poutin and i tried it for the first time. It was amazing. A must try.

The dark skinned lady waitress is so mean. She lacks customer service skills everytime I go in it's a constant mistreatment. The food is good but this girl has to go she has no respect for the business.

Friend just treated me to an amazing meal lol they afterwards confessed to not cooking themselves. My first taste of Mern's cooking, delicious! Everything was cooked well, and was of good quality. Definitely recommend.

the portions are huge, and definitely worth the money, for the prices you wouldn't think they would be as big as there.. just awesome

Wow. what a hidden gem. I like what I like but I like to switch up where I get it. and wow what a treat. The fish was delightful. Sorry no picture because once i dove in i wasn't stopping to take a picture. the fish was a delightfully light dry battered and fresh as fresh could be. and the portion?! wow a large fish in chips for that price! so awesome!

Loved this place. The food was awesome and the service even better. We had the seafood platter for two and we could could not eat it all. And I really like to eat

Nice place for lunch. Seafood chower was delicious, fried clams and fish needed more salt but they were fresh and good. Unfortunately fries were from bag so we didn't order!
