I like my steak blue rare, like still mooing. My server brought out my steak and it was overdone. He said "i told the chef it was over done but i wanted to check with you." I cut it open and it was overdone. I didn't even have to complain, he took the steak back and the next one was fantastic! Service absolutely fantastic! Thanks Alex!
I can only say it was only moderately horrible that only time. The other times was fine. But I submitted a honest review of my experience. And I had an even worse experience with the owner online when I submitted it. I Allways write an honest review. But this time. It's best just to use the rating. Safe myself the response I got last time.
Pricey with a long wait time. They also didn't accept credit cards when I was there. But it was the best steak I've yet to have in town, perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce accompanying it. Everyone in the party of 12 loved their food. The steak was so good it converted my girlfriend who had previously never been a fan of steak.
The sandwiches/ paninis were some of the best we've had. The carrot soup was good. Burgers were disappointing. Service was mediocre, we waited a while to be seated, orders taken, and for the food to come. There weren't very many people there either. We had to ask for cutlery/condiments/water and our waiter had a cold I guess and kept rubbing his nose and touching things.
Food and service are great! But, you have to pay cash for tips? There's a note on the bar that says you can use the ATM whichever charges you $2.00 but on your next visit get $3.00 off. Owners of businesses get a large portion of the ATM fees. Do you really think $3.00 of food costs 3.00? Way to screw your wait staff. The reason was because they had to wait for a week for their tips? Shame on you, you greedy business owner. Pay your people properly
Was there tonight with a group of co-workers, the waiter was beyond wonderful!! But... it was really cold there and we were waiting for a very long time, the food was ok but it was cold before I finished it because it was so cold there. All of us was cold. And the 3 hr wait was a bit much also. The poor staff was pitiful! Rushed off their legs! Only 2 on, we had reservations so you’d think that more staff would be on. It’s too bad because it’s a lovely place. I’m afraid we won’t be booking there anymore, we went for a birthday supper a while too and it was the same thing, long wait and cold.
Over all a great place to eat. Staff are very friendly, the food is 8/10 - Usually very good, but sometimes not quite perfect. Everything I had on both visits was very good. Highly recommend rare sirloin steak... was delicious. Can be somewhat slow, but the food is usually worth it.
Not quite the same experience as last time. The food was 90% as good. The service was pleasant but slow, due to our server looking busy while other staffers looked 'not so'. And the temperature was rather cool. We both are with our winter jackets on! Damn fine steak though!
