I’ve had 6 mortgages with other banks and Meridian has got to be the most incompetent bank ever. They wasted 5 weeks of our time to tell us they cannot approve mortgage. We all have stellar credit with tons of collateral. Do not recommend anyone going there. Go to Duca much easier to deal with. Did not go there initially because of distance. I’d rather deal with loan sharks
This place is god awful. From the front desk clerks to the Branch Manager. You walk in and the front desk ladies look at you like you have 3 heads, not even a HOW CAN I HELP YOU? I mean if you don’t like interacting with people, maybe pick a job behind a phone. This place took 5 weeks to approve/ deny a mortgage. “Branch Manager” Angela, is uh let’s say incompetent to say the least. First week into figuring out my mortgage, I had no follow up emails, no phone calls, absolutely no interaction from this branch manager. 2 weeks later, I follow up AGAIN, this time I ask should I switch to Duca? She said no no, we got this. Now today, more than 3 weeks later she writes me an email stating she recommends I should try with Duca. Well Angela, thanks for the recommendation!!! I recommend you go back to school, or try bagging groceries at foodland sorry for sounding condescending. I have stellar credit, I’m a second time home buyer and make more than the average person, I got denied because I work from home. Anyways people, please avoid this place at all costs, take your business, time and money to Duca :
